Trying out my new sewing machine....

I've been playing with my new lightweight Janome sewing machine which I love... I wanted a lightweight machine I would take to our sewing group    instead of lugging my big Janome machine with me.
I found some scraps of black and white fabric with an animal theme and just about had enough to make a scrap tote bag.
It has a small pocket on the front and I even managed to find a Zebra head button in my stash which I've used...

                                                 Back of bag

Inside are two large pockets, really pleased with the end result although the fabric isn't brilliant....
My cathedral window cushion front has been hanging around for ages so I also managed to complete that.

Hopefully I will have a card to share with you at the weekend...

You are such a talented at sewing, Anne!! LOVE that bag ... so cool with the black and white animal prints. And your quilted pillow front is amazing. Sewing is something that I just can't do, but I admire those that can. :) xx
