Penny Black Challenge....

where do the weeks go? This weeks Penny Black challenge is Christmas for the girls so have adapted this stamp she is called 'Chic'.....have done the card in pinks and pale greens, her trousers are supposed to be pale lime green but have come out yellow! Have used the Fiskars snowflake border punch, MCgill branch punch, Cuttlebug snowflake die, Nestability oval, cuttlebug Swiss dots embossing folder, SU oval punches and the christmas flower is one that my lovely friend Val gave me. The backing papers are Papermainia and the Christmas charm and the pink brads from from my stash.

Play Day.....

I've had a lovely day stamping with my friend Val W.
We did a lot of chatting but also managed to complete 2 projects, one being a Watering Can which you can find the tutorial for on Splitcoast Stampers, and also a Christmas gift bag which I made from bags given to me by the lovely Jenny Moors, thank you Jenny.
The bags made are for children but if making them for 'grown ups' you can really go to town and put lots of glitz and sparkle on. The stamp set used on both these project is SU Season of Joy, all SU card and designer papers have also been used and of course SU oval punches! Cuttlebug flower dies. We also made a Christmas 'Peek a Boo' card but I need to complete that.

Penny Black Challenge....

This weeks Penny Black challenge was a card plan which was really easy. I've stamped the PB 'Jump for Joy' stamp, stamped and then masked him. Colour with watercolour pencils. Card is SU Old Olive, backing paper is Basic Grey 'Sultry'. Nestability ovals, swirls are cut from the Quickutz Revolution swirls die, flowers and gems from stash, SU ovals and SU senitment from the Sincere Salutations set.
