A sad day but a Happy Card.........

My father in law sadly passed away last night so wont be doing much crafting over the next week or so as there are lots of things that need to be done.
Just a fun card to post today made from SU punches including the flower which is made from the wing of the SU bird punch and also the branch. SU card and papers also used, the sentiment is one of Tim Holtz ticket messages.

Penny Black Challenge...

This weeks Penny Black challenge is 'Special Someone'.
I've used the 'Hedgehog Joy' stamp coloured it with pencils and chalks. Backing paper is from my stash. SU Ticket punch used on the corners of the stamped image, layered onto card and then onto card which has been punched along the bottom using SU eyelet punch.
Decorative lace 'lace' used down the side of the card, Prima Flower in the corner and mini Papermanis pearls added to the card. SU Oval punch also used. Just becuase I care sentiment comes from the SU set Best Yet.

Wild about You....

I'm really enjoying my new'Wild about you' set which I managed to buy on that well known auction site! Have stamped all the animals in SU inks, Certainly celery, Pretty in Pink and So Saffron the little bird was stamped in Pink Passion, have also used SU backing paper and card. Leaves punched using L-Em punch, SU oval punches and scallop border punch. Matching certainly celery ribbon used acriss the front of the card.
Think there will be a few more of these cards!!!

Bah Humbug challenge 3 - All that Glitters

Another challenge this time its Bah Humbug 'All that Glitters'.
I've used the little penquin stamp from SU 'Wild about you' set. Stamped him in black and then layered him onto black card, using the SU scallop circle punch punched this out using glitter card. Cuttlebug large snowflake die has also been cut out using glitter card and a brad placed in the centre.
'Cool Christmas' sentiment is by Elzbells, Martha Stewart Zig Zag punch used along the bottom of the card. Backing paper is SU designer Bashful Blue set.

Craftwork Card challenge...A is for ACETATE

For the Craftwork Cards challenge we had to use acetate. Stamped the Hero Arts 'Gracious Lady' onto acetate on a pierce of card sprayed Glimmer Mists colours Patina, Gold and a bit of Keylime Pie, once that was dry I scrunched up the card the when over it lightly with a deep blue ink pad. Added the acetate on the top and attached with brads. Mounted it onto SU certainly Celery card and cut out two Sizzix decorative swirls and added them top and bottom. Mounted the topper then onto SU Not Quite Navy card then onto SU Certainly Celery designer paper . Finished off the card with a sentiment from Craftwork card and mounted onto SU oval punches.

These challenges are certainly keeping me busy.....

Penny Black challenge...

It's that time of week again the .Penny Black challange.
This weeks challenge is 'Something Sweet' so I have gone for the 'aahh' factor. The stamp is called seeing your face'....it's a very versatile stamp that I use for lots of different cards. The image has been coloured using pencils and chalks then cut out using oval Nesties.
Backing is SU designer paper, SU Eyelet border punch used on the bottom and I've added some small pearls. SU oval punches and the sentiment comes from the SU set 'Best Yet' which has some lovely saying in it.
