LOTV teenager...

I finally got around to colouring one of my new LOTV teenager cards...I find cards for difficult to make but these are super images, this image could be one of my granddaughters as she seems to prefer laying on the  the floor when using her tablet.....

My white base card seems to have disappeared into the background....papers are from LOTV border punch is a Martha Stewart one.

We have lovely sunshine this morning which makes a change from the snow, hail and rain we've had over the past few days..

Stampin UP Extravaganza Day....

Yesterday we had another Stampin Up Extravaganza Yesterday with the lovely Jenny Moors from Stamping Moments
The stamp set we were given was the Balloon Celebration set and here's what we made with with it....
A fabulous exploding Gift  box.. the little box in the middle where you pop your  gift so really its and card a gift box all in one.
We also used the Happy Birthday Die set.....

I just love the colours we used they looked gorgeous against the black.

Our first pop out card  using matching DP and the Hip Hop Horray die from the Birthday Birthday set.

Pop out card Number 2......using stampsfrom Party With Cake stamp set
Just loved this little cake box we made, I loved the little bow as it laid flat and of course we made the rose to go on the top..
 Lovely fancy fold card......
This little birthday album was fun to make using stamps from the Grateful punch set... ...lots of die cutting and punching but it was so pretty when opened out.
It was a fabulous day crafting with everyone (33) of us , we all worked hard to get our projects finished but the person who worked the hardest getting everything prepared for us.... Jenny and we are so lucky to have such a talented lady, thank you once again Jenny for another great day and fabulous projects.  Jenny's mum Sue always comes and looks us regarding food and the kitchen so thank you Sue.....and we are already looking forward to our Christmas Extravaganza in October..

Double Z card....

I saw this double Z card on utube by a lady called Jan Brown and though it was lovely..... and this is my version of it....

The beauty of this card is that it folds flat to post (obviosuly depending on how thick your embellishments are) ...I've made this a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card but you can make it card any size, ...a very simple card to make but so effective.
Designer papers are old ones from Stampin Up...swirl Cheery Lynn, and all the flowers are from Stampin Up....

Thanks for popping by

Thank you Di for showcasing my last week snippets card entry...and congrats to the winner of last weeks prize..
I had already made my Pixies snippets Challenge card for this week...I've used another of my beautiful sepia images and mounted it onto two Marianne Star die cuts one white and one green...the pierced frame was left over from another card I made, just added a green die cut swirl and a flower felt over from Christmas...the lovely backing paper was sent to me by my friend Gill who sent me a whole load of gorgeous papers to use.
How is my snippets box is growing instead of getting emptier??

Also entering my card into One stitich at a time wing challenge .
Thank you Christine for telling me about this challenge...

Oriental LOTV...

I fell in love with this beautiful frame die from Sue Wilson called Brighter Days and decided to use the die as my actual card its only 120 x 120 but very pretty.

LOTV used to sell sheets of mixed sized images and amonst those were some small 2 1/2 " x 2 1/2 " images of which I have quite a few left but I found they fitted perfectly in my new die.
Thanks for popping by...have a great weekend whatever you do.

Ive also entered by card in the LOTV Facebook April colour challenge.

Birthday Cake...

I just wanted to show you this clever floating Malteser cake that our grandson Charlie (14) made for his sisters birthday and by the smile of her face she loved it and it tasted so delicious. I'm just wondering what he's going to make for his mums birthday later this month!

Hopefully you are all making the most of the beautiful weather today
