Birthday Shoe....

Sorry for the poor photograph but it was taken on a dark day...

This is a card that I made for one of our ladies in club for her birthday, the shoe stamp is by Anna Marie designs....
I stamped the shoe then masked it, stamped the script over the top then paper pieced some of the flowers also stamping extra  to pop on the  Marianne swirl..
Backing papers are from LOTV  petal fresh pad and the lace border is from Cheery finish off the flowers I just popped a pearl in the centre.  ..sentiment is from Stampin Up.

Christmas JOY.....

Its been just over a week since my last post but we've been away with friends on the Isle of Wight for a week on  pre-Christmas break which was fabulous.

My Christmas cards this year are going to be very quick and easy and also like a lot of people I am cutting down on hand crafted cards purely because of the postal charges..

I've made this card using paper from my stash...dotty Embossing folder and Memory Box Alphabet letters and for the 'O' I've used one of baubles from the Stampin Up 'Christmas Collectables' set and SU border punch.

I will get around to your blogs to see what you've been up to but I'm afraid the washing and ironing has to come first..lOl..lOl...

Black and White Birthday....

Excuse the awful photo it was taken very quickly on my iPad...

I was asked to make a black and white 60th Birthday card and this is what I came up with.

I've used one of the Kanban pryamage images  and added a little bit of bling and sparkle which doesn't show up....the backing papers I got from a local craft shop, lace from my stash, Marianne Swirl die, and the sparkly brads are from Artoz ...

We are on babysitting duties as from lunchtime no crafting today..

Hope you all have great weekend

Art Deco Christmas...

Its been a few days since I posted but I was busy getting things ready for my craft fair which I did yesterday.  I did really well and also came on with  commissions orders which is lovely, so I am going to be busy this week.

I'm must also start thinking  about Christmas now so this morning I have all the fruit for my Christmas cakes soaking in Brandy.

A quick Christmas card to show you....The image and backing papers on this card are from a Making Cards magazine...I 3D the image, added a few dies, the Memory Box elegant scroll, Spellbinders poinsettia dies and Memory Box Star...the backing papers are from the magazine and the sentiment is from Stampin Up 'Greetings of the Season' set....

One man and his dog......

What a strange day weather wise...heavy rain then sunshine....then more rain, its also getting quite windy again...I dont mind as I'm in my craft room..

I've been topping up cards ready for my craft fair next Sunday I needed some cards for boys so I've used one of the images from a LOTV pad but I have added more colour...darkened his overalls, put in a little bit of sky and also grass.
Backing paper is SU, dies I've used are, Cheery Lynn Chicken Wire and Marianne icicle/grass and Elizabeth Design Ladybugs....sentiment is from Stampin Up Itty Bitty Banners and also used the dies that go with the set.

More Wetlands....

Still playing around with the Stampin Up Wetlands set this time I've done a night scene...I drew some little birds across the moon and just highlighted the grasses with a white gel pen....
I've used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background and a small piece of Stampin Up ribbon....the sentiment also comes from the Wetlands set...I'm still playing with the set but wont post any more cards until end of next week, dont want to bore you....

I need to start thinking about making more Christmas cards but cant seem to get into Christmas mode at the moment.

Another weekend is almost upmost us...have a great weekend whatever you do..
