Delicate Asters...

I just love the Heartfelt Creations stamps and papers....for this card I have used solely the papers.  Cut out and 3D an Aster flower and then added a glittered butterfly.  I can't remember where the sentiment came from as I've had it for a long time but I'm sure someone out there will be able to tell me.

Thanks for stopping by

Happy Birthday wishes Val .....

Today is my friend Val's birthday and this is the card I made her. Using the Arianna Blooms again ( I love this Heartfelt set) I stamped the flowers onto pale green parchment and embossed with white WOW powder, the other dies I have used are Tonic Trellis (I used the 'waste' from the front to make my previously posted card) and Joanna sheens Wisteria die for the foliage, banner die S.U.
Sorry about the awful photograph but it was a very dark and dull day when I took the picture is this was the best of 3...roll on spring....

Yesterday I went to a craft show at Westpoint near Exeter with friends, it was a mixture of crafts and sewing...we were all very good in not buying very much, I did keep to my resolution and not buy any crafty goodies in January but needed  essentials yesterday so I bought two lots of glue, pretty card boxes 50 for £10 from Anna Marie so shared them with a friend, a small stencil, 2 sponges and slightly bigger banner die than the one on the above card and I treated myself to a brooch pennant....
just goes to show I have more than enought crafty stash to use and hopefully  thats all my buying in February too.

Have a good weekend ...

Arianna blooms...

This is a card  I made for my friend Janet who's birthday it was yesterday.

I thought it was time I stamped my Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms.  Jan loves parchement so I decided to stamp and emboss onto white parchment and coloured the flowers from behind with Copic pens.  I also added the behind the flowers one of Sue Wilsons Filigree Poinsetta dies which I thought looked effective instead of green leaves.
The embossing folder came free with Papercraft Essential magazine last year, backing paper is from Stampin Up.

We have sunshine down here in Somerset this morning which is lovely to see after all the rain we've had lately.

Wedding Card.....

Not the best of photographs as it was taken on a dark and miserable day....

Background embossing folder is one of Sue Wilson's called 'Lattice Heart', the corner dies are from Spellbinders, flowers are  Asters from Heartfelt Creations, leaves although they look grey are silver and cut from a Crafts Too die called 'Entwinded'. Hanging Hearts from Memory Box, and I've used a Justrite stamp to pop my Sentiment in...

Its another cold morning here in Somerset but they hey have promised us some sunshine...

Have a great weekend whatever you are doing..

Gilding Flakes....

Last Thursday I spent a lovely day with my crafting friend Val...its always nice to exchange ideas and also to share stamped images and dies.
Val had shown me a Spellbinders frame that she had gilded using Woodware double sided sticky backed paper instead  of Flitter glue....I came home and created this card.

The lovely scenic image is one I stamped at Val's its a Heartfelt Creations one which I coloured with watercolour pencils. I used a the Garden Lattice embossing folder for the background, Spellbinders tag and the corners are from Whimsy...

right off to do the ironing now!

Another mauve card.....

Yes another purple/mauve card, again I have used some of the Delicate Asters backing paper and cut out some of the Aster flowers, using the die set I've cut out some leaves and 3D everything...the image on the right hand bottom corner was already printed on the backing paper.
I've used one of the Marianne Creatable dies and cut directly onto the backing paper and the right hand corner has been cut out of card reversing the image.
S.U. oval punches used as well as the sentiment..

Tomorrows card WONT be purple I promise....

I see we could be in for more snow tomorrow hopefully it wont be very much...I will keep my thermals out for a bit longer...hee...hee...

Get well.....

Firstly thank you to all of you for your lovely get well wishes I now seemed to at long last turned the corner....I must feel better as I am back in my craft room!

Needed to make a get well card today so I've used one of my new Heartfelt Creations stamps from the Delicate Twining Asters set ( which is the swirl in the corner)  also stamped one of the small aster stamps from he Delicate Asters  set and then 3D the main flower  and also added a flower  in the corner as my ink pad caught the corner of the card so I needed to cover it up!!!

The backing paper is from the Delicate Asters Collection pad, the embossing folder is from Crafts Too and I have sponged a darker mauve on the top the embossed card. Sentiment is also from the Asters collection pad...Also used is the S.U border ribbon punch along the centre of the card.

Hope you are all keeping warm in this snowy weather...

Heartfelt creation....

Have been playing with some more of my new crafty goodies this time with one of the stamps from Heartfelt Creations 'Posy Patch Garden Delights' set.

For the background I stenciled the 'Leaf Swirl' mask from Imagination  Crafts using SU Old Olive ink pad and the popped it through my Bigshot.
Coloured the watering can with Copic and 3D some of the flowers.
Used the Tessatina Memory Box trellis die along the bottom, the butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch.
Sorry its not a very good photograph...

Its a lovely day down here in Somerset the sun is shining.  Hope you all have a great weekend.
