More 3D embossing ....

Another 3D embossed card to show you....I've mounted the image onto a gold card but it doesn't show up very well....
Years ago a bought some Gare Rub on Metallic gilding waxes which are  in a little palette but in a solid form and that is what I've used to colour my card, they were ideal as I have used several different colours, I'm not too happy with the frame around my image so might decide to take it off and pop it into a frame but it was my first attempt working with black card...

Thank you....

I know I am supposed to be downsizing and sorting out my craft room but when I saw the new 3D Embossing folders from Crafters Companion I just couldn't resist ordering a couple or 3!

I've just kept this one simple no gilding wax just plain white embossing ...I did have the patchment flower and leaves in my bits box so I just die cut the sentiment...I've a feeling these EF are going to be well used....

What a change in the weather today very cloudy down here in Somerset today  but I hear the sun is to return so it looks like we will get a warm bank holiday for a change!!

One more thing.... my prayers and thoughts go out to all the families who were caught up in the callous terrorist attack at the Manchester Arena last night... to all those injured and of course the familes of those who didn't survive...the majority were so young.....

Craft Club - Paper beads

Last night was our craft Club meeting and we showed the girls how to make paper 'Pandora' type beads and also long tapered beads which they could put on a butterfly (I will post card later)....these beads are so easy to make and there are lots of tutorials on Utube showing both the the technique....the bead cores, bracelets, charms and spacer beads I bought on the internet.

40th Birthday....

Its been a couple of weeks since I last posted with no time for crafting, we also managed to have a few days away which was lovely.

I've been sorting through cupboards and drawers trying to do a bit of late spring cleaning!  Also trying to sort through my craft room what a nightmare job that is never realized I had so much I dont use so I'm going to try and be good and get rid of all the excess stuff I dont 'need or use' ...talking of which is where I found the above image and card backing card it was from Kanban a few years ago but meant I could put together a 40th birthday card I needed very quickly.

Posting will be a be sparce over the next couple of months but I will try and visit your blogs....

Enjoy the rest of your weekend..
