Masculine card....

 

I've been AWOL again making the most of this beautiful sunshine...we managed to get in two 1940 weekends...one at the Severn Valley and another at the Black Country Museum which was absolutely brilliant.

This card was scheduled to post last week but didn't for some reason (I expect it was me)!

The image is one from Hunkydory just added a couple of embellishments and the card was done, ....my craft room gets hot in the afternoon so my cards are quite simple ones that I can get made in the morning after the domestic chores!

Fabulous shoes.....

 

Its amazing what I've found buried under a pile on my desk...cards that I've started over the past few months while I was unwell  and never finished so my mission is to finish off all the ones that I have started.

Sorry its not the best photograph must find a better way to take pictures of my cards...

Whisper a Wish.....

 

We've had a lovely week away in the Cotswolds and the weather of course was beautiful...who needs to go abroad when we've got weather like this?

My lovely friend Gill sent me some of these gorgeoues owl images which is a stamp from Little Claires called Silhouette Owl and hedgehog....

just added some ink to the background and popped some grass on the bottom (which is my icicle punch)  Gill also sent me these gorgeous little rabbit die cuts.

It actually got me to make a card which was good... as i'm still struggling to craft...but Gill's images inspired me....

Blooming Basket...

I've managed to make a card....yipppeee...having been away from craft so quite a long time its taking me ages to get any of my mojo back but its a start.....

A couple of months ago I was lucky enough to win a raffle prize at one of Jill's crafting days (Jill stamps up blog) the lovely stamp set called Blooming Basket also came with a great Basket weave embossing folder and although you can't see much of the embossing fold on this card I'm sure I will be using both the stamp set and the embossing folder a lot more. the little butterfly is from a retired SU butterfly die .....

My health I am happy to say is so much better now with all the new medication and hoping to improve even more as time goes on...

Eclipse Birthday card,,,,

 

Its been a long time since I've actually posted or made a card....still having health issues but I am feeling better than I was....

I've found it so hard to get back into my craft room after such a long time away from it but having to make a card for a friend hopefully has got my mojo back a little bit...

Sorry about the photograph not being straight...

The background paper I had in my stash and just stamped leaves directly onto the paper before using my large 5cm letter dies (which I got off a that well known auction site very cheap )..the leaves were cut from scraps of left over alcohol ink paper..so a very quick and easy card to make....I think I will be using my new 5cm alphabet dies a lot.

3D embossing & Rub on Wax

 

Its been a long time since I last blogged due to being poorly  I am slowly now getting there..

I've struggled to get back into my craft room and my mojo seems to have left me but as we have club night this week so I needed to do some samples and this is one of them.

Using Crafters Companion 3D English Rose embossing folder I've used some Gare Luster rub ons which are wax based.... with these Gare rub ons they work beautifully with dark card paricularly black and brown.

I would like to also wish you all a belated Happy and Healthly New Year
