Relax its your Birthday..

Finally I think my chest infection is on its way out after over 3 weeks with steroids and antibiotics......

Needed a quick masculine birthday card so I have used an old LOTV image...in fact two images which I have sliced up just to give it some texture.

What a stormy night it was thankfully we didn't loose any tiles this time or garden fences...

I need to get back into my crafting now

Since my Norton Anti virus updated last time I am unable to get onto some of your blogs as it say's 'Dangerous website'...I know one of my friends has the same problem...they are blogs which I have been visiting for a long time so not sure what the problem is...any ideas would be welcomed..

Thanks for stopping by

Great masculine card. LOTV images are always handy to have.

This is a lovely LOTV image Anne and slicing it up like you have has given it a great entirely different look, and love the paper and embossed piece in the background. On my tablet it quite often comes up with this wording, but underneath it generally says that you can visit it at your own risk, and if it is a website you know well then personally I would override it and carry on, and once you have done that the message shouldn't come up again for that site. I think because it has updated some of the addresses it just doesn't recognise and therefore is giving you the warning, but obviously it is up to you to take the chance that they are OK, and that there are no bugs..it is obviously a calculated risk. I don't know if there is any other way of sorting it, you could put the wording in a search engine and see if it gives you any ideas for fixing it. x

First, I'm sorry to hear that your chest infection has gone on for so long, Anne. I know so many people who have had this. I'm glad to hear you are finally feeling better! Your relaxation birthday card is such a perfect manly card and I love how you sliced it to add texture. Great texture and interest with the background, too!

As for the dangerous website warning, people have said they get that message when they visit me and I've had it happen while visiting others, too. All I can think is that it happens for blogs who have links in their posts. Some software and even Google are wary of that. Will they let you click over to the blog anyway and override the warning? If so, and it's a blog you trust, that's what I do - I just click anyway and it lets me proceed. I swear these "updates" are often more trouble than they are worth! Keep well now. Hugs, Darnell

I’m glad you’re feeling better, and that the storm wasn’t too bad. I love your card and how you used two images, it looks really good. As for the warning, I’d just ignore it if you trust the blog. There probably is a way of telling Norton to trust the blogs, hopefully someone will be able to share how xxx

A belated visit and a C&P comment I'm afraid as MS preventing me doing much still, but can at least take a peek at what everyone is creating.

I was wondering how you had done that effect. Wow, what a great idea. I have lots of the LOTV books in storage so to speak. Must retrieve and have a rethink. Glad to hear your chest infection is getting better. Hubby and I are still coughing for Britain from our covid back in beginning of December. As regards safe sites if I click on a link which wants to take me to a blog which is only htpp I copy and paste into my browser site and then add the s behind the 2 pp's before the //. then I know I am on a safe site. Hope that makes sense. Hugs Mrs a.

Hi Anne

It is so lovely to read that your chest infection has finally decided to clear up .. .. you must be so pleased to see the back of that!!

A great male card. Love the technique you have used.

Sorry, can't help with the Norton thing, I use ESET. Might be worth doing a search to see if other users have had a problem following their up-date.

Hope you have had a good weekend.

Love Jules xx
