Back on line....

It's been a frustrating week so far...we lost our internet and our telephone lines Sunday lunchtime and today is the first day an Engineer was able to come out....
We've had a problem before with rats eating through the cables and wires and its happened again, depsite putting some armored cabling down...so fingers crossed it will take them a while to nibble through that....its just one of the drawback of living in the country....

My card.... the lovely snowflake die frame was a gift from a friend last year...it hasn't got a name unfortunately but it made a lovely card just using non shed glitter behind it ...the poinsettia I already had from years ago.. not sure who's make the fern die is.... it's so nice to back on line ...I will try and catch up with your blogs at some point..

What a pretty card Anne and a lovely gift of that snowflake frame die from a friend, and embellished beautifully with the poinsettia and ferns, and the silver glitter card makes a wonderful background, also the red card and chiffon ribbon go perfectly. Sorry to hear that rats had managed to chew through your cables, what a nuisance for you, and glad that you are back on line, as nowadays you can feel rather cut off without access to phone and internet. x

This is a very pretty card Anne. Oh dear, such a nuisance. We have had mice eat through the electrics in the cars on more than one occasion. Very expensive too! Never had the rats eat through the telephone cables but we are surrounded by three farms so there are definitely rats around. Sadly I had to stop feeding the birds because of them. But I still wouldn't live anywhere else! Take care. Christine x

Beautiful card and even more so for real as it is sitting on my sideboard 😉
Hope those pesky rats find something else to chew and leave your phone lines alone

Those pesky rodents are eating you out of house and home! That was meant to be funny but in light of your situation it really was not that funny. So glad you have those problems sorted out.
Your Christmas card is stunning! I love red and white Christmas cards - the color seem so pure and bright.
Merry Christmas Anne!

That's a stunner, Anne! Great idea to use the glitter paper behind the open weave of that beautiful snowflake die! The red bow and bright poinsettia balance the composition perfectly! Love that you added the little ferns!

I'm glad you are back online and I hope this time the repairs keep the rats away. We just got rid of a couple that thought maybe they should move in and entertain us all night long! Yucky creatures! Take care and keep on staying well! Happy Holiday Hugs, Darnell
