This is a card I made for my friend Margaret just using the DSP from the Bird Ballard set....such beautiful papers.
Its been a busy few days in the garden cutting down bushes and trimming trees ready for the winter.
Yesterday we made the most of probably our last hot sunny day with a trip down to Weymouth, we saw around 6 cruise ships still docked in the bay not sure when they will be moving but don't think anytime soon.

We had a day at the seaside yesterday too - we went to Rhyl! Sunny, warm, beach almost deserted and fish and chip lunch sat on the prom!! His Lordship announced a trip to Wales was the nearest we were going to get to a 'foreign' holiday for a long while yet!

Beautiful card Anne...such a pretty image and I love the die cut. Last year, hubby and I had contemplated taking a cruise around the British Isles for our 50th wedding anniversary this October. Looks like we will have to find another way of getting to see your beautiful country in a couple of years when all is safe again. xx

Please you got a day out, we are a bit too far from any coastline to contemplate it, or a cruise ship again, this years was moved to next but I'm not holding our too much hope the way things look to be going.

My husband is still furloughed for two days a week, so he took the opportunity to give the garden a good cut back too. We saw the weather was on the turn and did not want to get caught out. Just got to sow some grass seed now.

Gorgeous card Anne, I love the trellis die you have used. I saw one lonely cruise ship a few weeks ago at Southwold, it must seem very strange for the crew on board the ships at the moment.

Love the layout and those sweet little birds! Such a pretty colour palette and the trellis is the perfect background.
Pleased you managed some of that gardening (it is never ending really isn't it) and also that you got a run out. We aren't going too far away from our little nest at all and hubby can't believe how little diesel he is using.

Those papers are gorgeous and you've made a lovely sweet card, Anne! The shades of blue and the lattice frame are beautiful! It sounds like you are keeping busy getting ready for winter. We are having another (hopefully last gasp) run of high heat 100-degree days this coming week. We are so done with it and can't wait for cooler weather and less fire danger. Take care, my friend.
