Floral Birthday ...

How are you all coping in this heat?  I'm finding it just a little bit too much and the craft room has been out of bounds most days as it has been too hot.
I just can't believe the amount of people on the beaches down here but I'll say no more !

I did manage to make this birthday card using snippets of  green card , flowers & leaves from the SU Penned & Painted set.  Most of us have got snippet boxes and I do try to use it when I can.

Have a nice day whatever your doing and thanks for stopping by

A beautiful card and a lovely layout Anne. I'm lucky enough to have a fan in my craft room which really helps a lot in the heat and for my tropical moments, although I have to turn it off when I'm using embossing power lol. I found that one out the hard way! :) :)x

Good morning Anne

Definitely a few snippet boxes at this end!!! LOL!!

You have used yours beautifully here. Love all the layers and lovely colours. A great floral stamps.

It has been really warm here too .. .. but today it is a little more overcast and there is a bit of a breeze .. .. so we should be more comfortable.

Have a good day.

Love Jules xx

Not sure where you live Anne but one of our son's and DIL (who we've not been able so see since COVID kicked in) lives on the Sussex coast and I know shares your view, so much so they have not even dared take their usual beach walks with their dogs.

Such a very pretty and summery card today.

Very pretty card with those delicate flowers. Just put inserts into a pile of cards and now I'm melting!

I love the more sketchy look to the flowers Anne and the three different green coloured strips look great in the background. A beautiful card. x

Gorgeous colours and layout, the flowers are beautiful, not as hot here in Scotland, really pleasant for sitting in the garden

Gorgeous card. I am terrified of going to places to crowded. We have played in lots of woods recently. My 9 year old has asked for a day out that does not involve walking

Beautiful card, Anne. I love how you've created the background with the three strips - very effective. It's been pretty hot here too and we've no plans to sit on a beach for a long time! xx

You've had an unusual amount of high heat this year, haven't you, Anne? I hope it breaks soon. As for stupid people, if only the virus would just . . . ! I love the snippets card design you were able to put together! The shaded hues of green cut for the panel background really make the pretty flowers pop! Keep well! Hugs, Darnell

This is lovely Anne! Such pretty colours and a great layout.
Our temps up here have not been anywhere near those further South - in fact we've had white cloud days rather than bright blue sunshine which suits me just fine as I can't be doing with too hot! (When I think of the way I used to toast myself on sunbeds abroad I wonder where that person went!) x
