Snippets of flowers.....

Couple of cards using some snippets of flowers from the SU Happy Birthday to you stamp set...
For the first card I've used the SU pointed die and made it into a pocket and added a computer generated sentiment.

Not sure about this card....again using up bits and bobs from my snippets box...the lattice die is an unbranded die and a couple more left over flowers..
Its amazing what you can make from a snippets box...but not sure about the fancy corded string embellishment though...

Its going to be another very hot day today....yesterday it even got too hot for me to sit under the umbrella  .. our garden faces South and we have the sun all day which is lovely...I'm hoping in a couple of weeks we might even be able to walk along the sea front in Weymouth..

Have a lovey day everyone..

Gardeners know all the best dirt....

This card was started over two weeks ago but I've had an awful tummy bug so it didn't get finished until yesterday....This card was mean't to be for my brother's birthday but thankfully I had another masculine card I could send...
The LOTV image went really well with some papers I had left from Craftwork cards Potting Shed paper pack.
Garden dies are from 'First Edition' garden die set....

How are we all doing....I don't know if I am the only one but every day just seems to roll into one and have to look at calendar to see what the actual day is but it has become a 'normal' way of life now after 9 weeks....but will look forward to the day when we can stroll along the seafront again....

Have good weekend and stay safe....

Iris Birthday.....

Haven't crafted for a few days as I've been making the most of the beautiful weather we were having....what a difference  it is today...back in my jumper.. but I do believe the warmer weather is returning at the end of the week...fingers crossed.

This Iris card was made a while ago using a very old Anita's stamp...does anyone remember them?  Years ago I was a demonstrator for them but I must say their stamps weren't that brilliant in the early days...  most of the stamps have long gone but have kept the odd one and the Iris stamp being one of them...a very simple design and quick to colour.

How have you all being doing in lock down? After hearing Boris last night Looks like us  'oldies' are in for a few weeks longer...with the stash I've got I reckon I could do another year!!

stay safe

Masculine card..

This is a card I recently made for my friends husband...I've used a Hunkydory image, these are great for men's cards as we all know men are so difficult to make for ...  just added a couple of embellishments and some embossed card.

Hope you are all managing to keep yourselves busy I know its hard for a lot people, so thankful we have hobbies and I've certainly got enough stash to keep me going.

Its quite cold here today in Somerset lets hope the sunshine returns soon and we sit  out in the garden again...
that's it from me for today..
