S.U. Christmas Extravaganza day...

I had a fabulous day yesterday crafting at Jenny's Stampin Christmas Extravaganza, we made some lovely projects and cards using the Sprig punch and the Peaceful Noel stamp set.
This beautiful box wreath and scene was my favourite project, it doesn't show but it shimmers beautifully

We decorated this pretty box and made a small wreath for the top

This was one of the cards we made.

This is a lovely idea to give something a small present, we made and decorated this sleeve around a box of Maltesers....

inside of lid of our Malteser box.

Another lovely card using this fabulous reindeer, we stamped the background from our stamp set.
Another project we did was to decorate this little box and we made a lovely Christmas project to go inside but I dont want to show it yet as I am making some as Christmas gifts....but will reveal at a later stage.

Thank you Jenny for a wonderful crafting day....and thank you also to Sue Jenny's mum for making some lovely cakes and keeping us watered with tea and coffee... looking forward to the next Extravaganza day in April...

I came home home all fired up and ready to go!

Winter Sweater

I've really enjoyed playing with this lovely die set its the Winter Sweater set from Elizabeth Crafts...again I've been able to use up scaps of DSP as my cards are only 4" x 4"...
Think I will have to work on the rendeers antlers a bit more but they were a bit fiddly to put on and not always in the right place!....

I had a lovely day yesterday with 3 crafty friends we went to the Shepton Mallet Crafts4Crafters show..as we all  knit and do patchwork as well as crafting it wasn't difficult to spend our  money...

Have a great weekend whatever you are doing..the weather is certainly lovely at the moment may it continue...

Making cards from Scraps and snippets...

Last night was our club night and we used scraps of paper and card to create new cards...as crafter we never throw anything away....
Theres no right or wrong way to use scaps on some cards I've left spaces between placing scraps down on this card I've just butted them up together.

When you have lots of Christmas cards to make sometimes you want something thats very quick and easy to make and this Christmas tree card certainly was quick.
Another bright card using strips of DSP....

I'got lots of tiny LOTV images left over from packs I've bought in the past but they looked great placed in the centre of another scrap card...

There are more cards but I think thats enough....hope its given you a few ideas/

Mermaid.....

Many years ago before all the craft shops popped up I used to used fabric to make cards with and this was some of the fabric, ...the fabric is glued onto the card then cut out.  The background is alcohol inks on acetate with tissue paper, glitter and crystal lacquer, we did it a few years ago at our club night  its very effective and fun to do...the photograph doesnt do it justice as it is very sparkly...the die is a willow branch die I found on the net unbranded....

Hope you all have a good weekend

Christmas card...

I've made a start on my Christmas cards...at club this month we are using up scraps of DSP paper to make cards so I made this Christmas card using the Herringbone technique...will post more samples next week on club day...
Sorry the photograph isn't brilliant to you can see the idea.

The weather has certainly turned chilly so time to get out the 'woollies'
