I've not beel a very good blogger lately but I have been doing other things and sometimes other things in your life take over.
One of my New Years resolutions was to try and NOT buy anymore DSP but to use up DSP paper that has been laying around for a very long time...also, we all have papers left in our paper pads that we aren't that keen on and these papers are some of those.... I decided to use one of the Beautiful You images, I paper pieced her umbrella and I think I really should have done her dress darker as the papers aren't that bright...but it done now....

A pretty card and a great way of using up some of the many design papers we all have left from pads and sets which we bought - I'm not sure I'll ever get around to using up all of mine!
This is really so pretty Anne and I love what you have done with the papers and the unsusual central shape you have achieved by filling in the corners, and the ribbon bow just gives that little extra pop of colour. x
This really is a beautiful card Anne and I think the papers are so pretty. They're just right to wish someone brighter days. I don't think any of us will use up all the papers we have! Barbxx

I think these are really lovely papers Anne and you have matched everything up so well. Her dress is just perfect as you have the pop of stronger colour in the ribbon.
I know what you mean about using up all those papers. I have a drawer full of them shame on me.

This is really pretty. I am being good and using up old papers. I sort out the ones I don't like so much and sell a bundle of them at craft fairs
I am trying not to buy anything else!! Your card meant a lot to me today - I have a sick cat - I hate it for the cat and then I hate it for the $$. So very expensive at the vets but what can I do pray tell.
Don't second guess yourself - you are on the loosing end of that stick! I think it is very hard to know what would be better until we see a picture! I think your card is wonderful Anne!
