Another recycled paperback.....this time I've made a wreath and apart from a little bit of glitter in the centre with the glittery bauble I've left the pages of the book as they were....you can ink your papers, spray them or even glitter them if you wish but I think they look nicer left plain.....
I know some people think that its a sin to destroy books but these were destined for the recycling plant so all I've done is to recycled them myself... I like to use really old books as you get a lovely brown-sepia edge to the papes but if you like it white then use one thats less aged... our local library also sell their unwanted books for 10p each and depending on the size of the book you can either make one or two of these small wreaths from it...
I'm hoping these might sell at my craft fair...

What a great idea and a lovely way of using an old book Anne. I made a rosette at a workshop quite a while ago using this tube design, and I still have it hanging up indoors. x

Such a clever and create design Anne. And a great way to recycle. I agree, the aged pages are so beautiful all on their own, that you don't need to add much else. I bet these will be very popular at your craft fair. xx
Wow, really love this.x
