Crafting Sleepover...

What a crafting sleepover we had....Grace ( left) and Rubie (right)
wanted to come and craft with a sleepover.
The started doing some book folding, these candles were so easy for the girls to make and please note  on the table the MUST HAVE when crafting Chocolate....
One small candle finished and a part finished large candle...the smaller cander has two spine folds and the large one one...they also made a hedgehog which you will see in a later photograph....I think they would have stayed up all night crafting...
The girls were up early crafting in their PJ's before breakast this time it was card making...

Pancakes were requested for breakfast but of course it was by candlelight!!!

The girls also made lots of pom poms from scraps of wool so they wanted to make a wreath with them....Sunday morning then went onto card making...a couple of cards made from my scrap box then some finger painting...
They also made cards for their mums which they had already popped into and envelope...
Grace and Rubie want to do this again which I thing is lovely...we put everything on the table they had made over the weekend...

It really is lovely seeing all the photos of your granddaughters Anne and as nice that they enjoy to craft. Our youngest used to love to get in my craft room but now she is at Uni other things fill her mind and time. Mind you she often pops across the courtyard (those three live next door) to have a rummage through my ribbon draws.

Oh Anne - these are the MOST adorable little girls - so cute. They are lucky to have you and it really looks like they are having the best time. What wonderful crafts - You gotta love those candle books - everything looks fantastic.
WE are expecting a Hurricane tomorrow - only a miracle would change the hurricanes path now. So we will be without power for quite a while.
Once again Anne, your grand daughters are beautiful - who could not love those smiling faces!!!!

I am also blessed with a granddaughter that loves to craft. She has her own spot in my craft room and two drawers full of goodies just for her personal use. She can often be found there when things seem especially quiet around here and when she leaves for home, she leaves behind wonderful creations with a special message just for me. Creating traditions with grandchildren is the best.
