A lovely technique where you splodge Pearl acrylic paint ( I used Hobbycraft Colout it pearlised paint found in the childrens section) on your card let it dry then apply water based inks colour of your choice then buff it up....you get the most amazing backgrounds..I did use a very slightly damp paper towel to buff up my card which seemed to enhance the pearly background..
This card I've used just green and red ink added a Cheery Lynne swirl, the poinsettia I won from Loll last year...ribbon is from Stampin Up, sentiment All Occason dies..
Hope you do try this technique as you can make some stunning backgrounds...

Love the soft green and red background to show off your poinsettia; sweet bear image on your second card and looks great with the blues and mauves; and LOVE love that pine wreath on the green background - awesome!!
