Starting School....

Our youngest Grandson starts school on Monday....he seems too young as he's only just 4years old and will be one of the youngest ones....thankfully he's part-time for 3 weeks so as to ease them in gently...

This is a little good luck card I've made him using one of Mo Manning's digi images....the small alphabet and numbers are from the Tattered Lace Issue 3 magazine.  Backing papers are from Echo Park 'Boys life' paper pad...
Bless him his school shirt comes down to his knees and his little shorts are for 2-3 year olds....but he cant wait to go...and of course his big sister is giving him lots of adivce on what to do and what not to do, she's 6 1/2 ....don't you just love 'em...

We have a dry day here in Somerset which is lovely after the awful rain over the past 3 days...

Anne, this is a beautiful card for a wee boy starting school.
Love the image, colours and great design.
Oh!! that is so young to be going off to school. Mind you Robert was much the same and has thrived academically. Certainly not done him any harm.
Happy crafting

What a sweet Grandma you are to make him this so special card. It will help him ease into his first few days at school and away from home. This must be a very nervous time for such a youngster and having this little card tucked in his school bag will make it less so, I expect. It's an adorable image and goes perfectly with all the papers & embellishments you chose to make it special for your little guy. I hope he enjoys his new adventures and has lots of fun. TFS & Hugs. Off to enjoy some of your earlier posts that I missed.

If you are like me you probably feel that they grow up too fast! I am sure there is mixed feelings seeing your little guy off to school. I know he will love this card and it will be cherished.
