What a Hoot....

A card for an Owl lover but I didn't find this Indio Blu image easy to colour as its quite a dense stamp and perhaps I should have done it in softer colours.
Coloured with pencils and I've added a little bit of Glossy accents to his beak.

Backing paper is from my stash, Tim Holtz wood effect embossing folder, Memory Box leaf punch...

Hope you are all having a lovely Easter and not eating too much chocolate!

The owl is lovely though. I love all the elements - the backing paper and leaf dies are very effective.

Terrific card Anne - I know someone who also would love this as she is owl mad too!
Understand what you mean about stamp density and colouring..someone told me to use Distress Inks instead and although I'm not an expert at colouring I have found it easier to achieve depth of colour. xx

What a well put together card with the leaves and woodgrain embossing making such an appropriate background for the owl. It is so unusual to see such a natural owl image these days!

Anne, I loved your Easter nest boxes too. Fantastic idea.

Great card Anne. The bp goes so well, as does the bark embossing. You've coloured that lovely owl brilliantly - only suggestion would have been to do his face a bit lighter.....but gorgeous nevertheless.
