Paper Napkin transfer....

Today is our club night and one of the projects we are doing is called Paper Napkin Transfer.  It uses a paper napkin/serviette, paper/card and cling film.
The idea is to tranfer the image of your  paper napkin into a piece of card, we have done this sort of project before at craft club but used Mod Podge which can be very messy and of course you have to let it dry this way its instant.  We have found one of the best cling flims to use is Baco Bio Wrap cling film which is 100% biodegradable.
For this card I have used a squarter of the napkin....backing paper is S.U. and I have stamped it with the sanded image stamp and just added a border along the bottom.  For the sentiment I have used a flattened bottle with and popped a sentiment in the centre.   Go along to UTUBE and see how this method is done...
There are some beautiful napkins around with just patterns on that also make wonderful backgrounds....so go on and give it a try...it's also great fun swapping napkins!

There are some really good images on these paper napkins and I like the one you have chosen here - a good card for a man. I'd temporarily forgotten all about flattening bottle tops!!

Cool - thanks for the tip Anne - I've done this by ironing them onto candles but never onto paper - must give it a whirl :-)

Hi anne, I'll have to check out the youtube link because I am intrigued as to how to make this. What a brilliant idea as there are some lovely napkins around. Yours is great, the image would be suitable for a man as well as a woman. Hope you are well. CoB
