Less is More challenge this week is 'Pick a Square'...  I've used one of the squares on my Magenta Flower stamp and coloured it with pencil.   I still find it difficult not to put more onto my card but I really do enjoy these challenges....

Problems Leaving Comments?

Hi Folks.....  I have had several emails from people saying that they are having problems leaving comments on my blog.  Not sure what is happening as I did have a comment left on my blog today.  Maybe its a glitch on Mr Blogger somewhere but will try and post a card tonight and see what happens then...  I know that I am not the only one who has had problems.  Thank you to those people that did email me and let me know that there was a problem, I really do appreciate it...

Christening card.

Theres so much glitter on this card that it hasn't photographed very well.
Our youngest grandson Alfred is being Christened on Saturday and although he is almost 9 months old I made this card at the begining of the year hoping he would be christened earlier so hes not quite the baby on the image!
Image is from LOTV, backing paper is handmade which I bought at a craft show and its very sparkly, Dohickey Swirl die and small daisies made with small flower punches, Martha Stewart punches used across the centre and also for the butterfly.

Off to have a tidy up now, wish we also had a crafting fairy who could wave her magic wand and everything would be put back in its place if anyone has one please let me know!!!

LIM challenge...

Less is More challenge this week is Butterfly/Butterflies.  For my card I have used a crafts too embossing folder which has butterflies on it.
Stamped a butterfly from the Stampin UP set called Touch of Nature onto turquoise card them used bleach to bleach out the colour in certain areas this gives such a pretty effect.

Added a few pearls then mounted the butterfly onto circles using SU punches and the SU scallop one.  Greeting is computer generated...

Penny Black challenge....

Its great to get back into my craft room having been away for a few days.....my MOJO seems to have left me today but that might be because we had some bad news last night to say one of our friends had passed away....
Anyway back to my card, over on the  Penny Black challenge the subject for this weeks card is Fussy and Fancy.
I've used the Butterfly Kitty stamp and coloured it using pencils and chalks. Backing paper is from S.U.  Punches used are Martha Stewart punch used across the middle, S.U. label punch, dies used are Marianne Creatable leaf die and Cuttlebug corner die.  Flower from my stash.

THanks for looking

Paper Napkin transfer....

Today is our club night and one of the projects we are doing is called Paper Napkin Transfer.  It uses a paper napkin/serviette, paper/card and cling film.
The idea is to tranfer the image of your  paper napkin into a piece of card, we have done this sort of project before at craft club but used Mod Podge which can be very messy and of course you have to let it dry this way its instant.  We have found one of the best cling flims to use is Baco Bio Wrap cling film which is 100% biodegradable.
For this card I have used a squarter of the napkin....backing paper is S.U. and I have stamped it with the sanded image stamp and just added a border along the bottom.  For the sentiment I have used a flattened bottle with and popped a sentiment in the centre.   Go along to UTUBE and see how this method is done...
There are some beautiful napkins around with just patterns on that also make wonderful backgrounds....so go on and give it a try...it's also great fun swapping napkins!

Bah Humbug challenge...

Bah Humbugs challenge for us this week is Recycling/Going Green.  I've managed both on my card as I am so short of time this week so used a re-cylcled image.
Keeping the green theme going I've used spotty paper from Craft Creations, Olive Green card which I have embossed with a mistletoe folder (not that you can see much of of it!) and again a darker green shade of card from S.U.
Ribbon from stash, SU tab punch with computer generated greeting and a few card candy circles.

Baby card....

Needed to make a baby card today so chose to use the Rubber Stampede image called 'baby carriage'.
Coloured with copics and put onto nesties.  The cover to the backing papers has got lost but I think its M.M.E....sentiment stamp is from Personal Impressions, prima flowers and some card candy.
Late posting today as I have been spending time in the garden with my granddaughter playing with her new pram....  She wouldn't have a doll in the pram it has to be Mickey House who goes everywhere with her...bless

CR84FN colour challenge....

Thought I would do the CR84FN challenge again this week as I just love the colour combinations, kraft pale yellow and gold.
For my card I have used Stampin Up papers and also the Rose is a Rose stamp set which I love.  I have mounted the rose onto one of the Marianne dies and then added a a few tiny gold pearls around the edge. Ribbon is from SU and sentiment mounted onto Cuttlebug flower die.

Bah Humbug challenge......

Pleats and Ruffles is this weeks challenge from Bah Humbug.
Xmouse ornnamnet is the stamp I have used for this card....but the card is completely different from how I planned it!  Using a Go Kreate template to cut my card then a smaller die to cut the Stampin Up backing paper.
The little mouse is coloured with pencils and then mounted onto nesties. I then started to PLEAT my ribbon but it ended up being ruffled!  After cutting the ribbon to fit my card I had a little bit over which seemed a shame to throw away so I them just stitched the bottem and ended up using it for the middle of my Christmas flower which I put on a Marrianne leaf die from a ponsettia set leaf. Sentiment is from Craftwork cards.

Thanks for popping by  Anne
