Penny Black challenge

How quickly these Saturdays come around.
This weeks Penny Black challende is 1 circle, 2 papers and 3 flowers. This little imaged is called 'Rainin Daisies', and yes I know I have used roses on the card... Coloured with pencils the backing papers are from the DCVW Linen Closet pack. Flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts. Leaf punch is a Nellie Snellon one.

Another floral card....

This poor stamp hasn't seen the light of day for around 2 years so thought I would give it an 'outing'.
This stamp is by Rubber Stampede and is called ' Hydrangea'. Coloured with pencils and mounted onto SU card. The backing paper is from Papermania Summer Bloom pack which has some really pretty papers in it.
Prima flower with Nellie Snellen punched and embossed leaves. SU certainly celery ribbon.

I'm back......

Back in my craft room after a lovely week away near Dartmouth with 2 of our grandchildren. The weather couldn't have been better.
Had to make a really quick sympathy card tonight and luckily I had already coloured this image which is called 'Star Lillies' by Stampendous.
Backing paper is from Papermania Verde Paper pack pad, M.S Modern garland border punch, gold corner charm is from my stash.
I shall be back tomorrow card making after all my washing and ironing has been done, dont you just love housework????

Last post for a week......

Well this will be my last post for a week as we have our grandchildren arriving tonight so we are going to be pretty busy...
This is one of the new LOTV christmas stamps and is called 'Skating along'.
Image is coloured using Copic pens. Backing paper is from stash, cuttlebug embossing folder used cross the centre. Poinsettia is from The hobby House but I have added extra leaves using the Nellie leaf punch and emboss. Cuttlebug flower dies for sentiment.

Penny Black challenge......

This weeks Penny Black challenge is a bit different the theme is 'anything but a card'.
I made this box from 2 12 x 12 sheets of paper, its so quick and easy to make and it actually holds a whole box of Elizabeth Shaw mints so makes a lovley gift for either birthday or Christmas.
Image is 'Plimsol Pete', dont know why he's called that because he has wellington boots on!
Coloured with copics and mounted into nesties.
Cuttlebug folder used for background also Cuttlebug corner dies.

Bah Humbug challenge.

Sorry for the lack of blogging this week but it's been a very busy week. Just found an hour to pop in my craft room and actually had time to make this weeks challenge for Bah Humbug which is Christmas stocking.
This little stamp is by Gilliam Roberts so was perfect.
Coloured with Copics and mounted onto Nesties,
backing paper is by Dovercraft and is called 'Tis the Season'. Crafts Too star embossing folder across the middle edged with the SU scallop border punch. Flower from stash, Cuttlebug flower die and Corners.

Penny Black challenge....

I just love card plans and Penny Blacks challenge this week is a card plan.
P.B. image is called 'Butterfly Kitty' which I just love...
I've coloured the image with both pencils and chalks. With this months Cardmaking & Papercraft they were giving away a pad of M.M.E papers and this matched perfectly with my SU Razzleberry card and ribbon that I had. Martha.Stewart border punch is called Modern Garland, Flowers from stash.

How quickly these challenges come around. Bah Humbugs challenge this week is a card for a special friend.
Image used is a Penny Black stamp called 'Snowy & Hedgy, coloured with pencils. Backing paper from stash. SU photo corner punch, Cuttlebug snowflake die and embossing folder also used.

Another LOTV image, this is one of their die cuts called 'Over the garden wall'
Have mounted the image onto nesties, backing paper is from Basic grey range called Kioshi.
SU eyelet borner punch used and a Quickutz corner die. Cuttlebug flower dies used with sentiment, flowers from stash, Nellie leaf punch.

Bah Humbug challenge

Bah Humbugs challenge this week is 'Less is More', I found it very difficult not using punches, ribbon or embellishments and the card doesn't looked 'finished' off to me..
A very simple card, Cuttblebug snowflake embossing folder background, 2 re-cycled die cut images from a Christmas card and an SU sentiment mounted onto SU oval punches....and thats it....

Penny Black challenge...

We have had a very busy few days so not much time for crafting but of course I couldn't miss the Penny Black challenge which I love doing every week so managed to snatch an hour tonight!
Our challenge for this week is Red, White and Blue.
My stamp this week is 'Dressed up', coloured with pencils and mounted onto Nestability circles.
Backing paper S.U. Cuttblebug swiss dots folder used down the side, Su Star punch also used.
