Something a bit different....

It's been a very long time since my brayer last saw daylight so thought I would have a little play.
I started off with slightly 'coated' card and using a Big and Juicy Hydranga ink pad inked up my card but masking out a circle for the moon first before brayering.
Several stamps have been used on this card, the reeds and background is one stamp which I bought on that well known auction site quite a while ago but I dont remember it having a name it was just an unmounted stamp. The birds over the moon is a stamp from Lavina Stamps, the 'trees' stamped on the top of the card is a little stamp from Clarity but any leaf stamp will do. Having stamped I though the card needed something else so I've added my little bird punch with leaf from Stampin Up. I really enjoyed making this card so think I might do another one.

Sorry for the bad photograph on this card but the light is dreadful.
I just love this wedding image from LOTV. Just added a little bit of glitter onto the image and mounted it onto the Nellie square die cut. The backing paper is a handmade paper that has beautiful white leaves on it with glitter in the centre I dont know what its called as it came from one of the craft shows. Cuttlebug swiss dots along the botton with a little bit of ribbon and I've used the Stampin Up eyelet border punch along with a few pearls (of course). Greeting is computer generated and mounted onto SU oval punches. A few roses added to the front, Nellie Snellon leaves also added.

Bah Humbug......

Bah Humbugs challenge this week is through the window.
The actual 'window' on this card I made a very long time ago, hence the simple background through the window, a silver pipe cleaner for a christmas tree!
The window was created using an Ornar window template, pricked and window part cut away, then I left a border around the edge so that I could score and turn over to make an border so I could add the tree background The little angel stamps are from 'Judikins', stamped, coloured and then cut out. Pipe cleaner stuck onto white card shaped and stuck down to look like a Christmas tree, angels then put onto sticky pads and the window frame put over the top.
Ribbon added around the side of the window frame. A4 card with christmas backing paper on then I placed my window on top.
Hope this all makes sense!!!

A couple of pictures for you, one of 'Alfie' at 6 hours old and one with a very proud Grandad. Mum and baby came home yesterday lunchtime both are doing well.

Back to normal today and need to catch up on challanges and also get ready for our craft club meeting on Wednesday.
