Back in action...

Almost two weeks ago I had a fall when I came out of the dentist and ended up in A&E with a broken metatarsal and fracture... didn't find it easy using crutches and had to sit with my foot elevated for a week...down to one crutch now so I am able to get in my craft room...yiippeee.

I've made a couple of these cards for friends Anniversaries using SU Designer paper that went with the Free as a bird set.  At least I could sit a fussy cut the little birds and flowers.
Hubby has been brilliant cooking, cleaning, washing & ironing and looking after me so well...

It's also been a worrying time for us as our eldest daughter and family have all had Covid...the children weren't too bad but our daughter and SIL were quite poorly...thankfully they are now getting better.

Thanks for passing by

Pampered Pets Class by Post....

In December I bought the Pampered Pets card Class from the lovely  Su Demonstrator  Stacey Marsh  ...
We had four cards to make in the class but Stacey was so generous with her A4 card and DSP I've managed to make all these EXTRA cards, you can see her original class cards on her blog or facebook page...

I've managed to use all nearly all the card and DSP even making two gift tags to go with cards.   Even now I have some cats and one dog left.....I really enjoyed playing with the DSP....thank you Stacey for a brilliant class.  Pop along to her blog Stacey does several different classes by post.

Hope you are all managing to keep warm and safe..

For a cat lover...

Just realized I hadn't posted for a week...this is one of the last Christmas cards I've made its for a cat loving family......  this was an unbranded image I found on the internet.

Like a lot of you with the new government restrictions we will be on our own for Christmas but it's the safest thing to do....we will miss seeing the grandchildren opening up their presents but keeping safe is far more important.

We had a lovely walk around the village this morning in the sunshine, we stopped off at the village 'library' which is in the bus shelter and has been great since we've been in lockdown and always has a large selection of books....

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Back on line....

It's been a frustrating week so far...we lost our internet and our telephone lines Sunday lunchtime and today is the first day an Engineer was able to come out....
We've had a problem before with rats eating through the cables and wires and its happened again, depsite putting some armored cabling down...so fingers crossed it will take them a while to nibble through that....its just one of the drawback of living in the country....

My card.... the lovely snowflake die frame was a gift from a friend last year...it hasn't got a name unfortunately but it made a lovely card just using non shed glitter behind it ...the poinsettia I already had from years ago.. not sure who's make the fern die is.... it's so nice to back on line ...I will try and catch up with your blogs at some point..

Baubles...

Last week I was suffering with awful toothache and one night I didn't even go to bed so sat in my craft room making Christmas cards trying to take my mind off the pain...thankfully with antibiotics and pain killers I'm fine now...
I've used Marianne Creatable large bauble die for both cards..

The image in this bauble was sent to me by my lovely blogging friend Anneke ...

Hope you are all keeping busy making your Christmas cards.

Take care and stay safe everyone
