I finished off the baby girl version of Sassy stork image and as I am busy making samples for this months craft club didn't get chance to make another card yesterday so thought you might like to see how the girls card turned out.
Coloured with Copics and I also added a little bit of lace around the edge with also had some pink in it. Embossed backing paper I bought a long time ago and the pink backing paper is some old Stampin Up paper and cant remember what it was called. The Sassy Cheryl images always seem to have great facial expressions dont they, but love her strand of hair with the bow in it...
Off to patchwork again today, I seem to be in bag mode at the moment and have a new pattern to try but again using scraps so I need to pull out all my fabric to see what I can find.

It's a boy.....
Just loved Sassy Cheryl's stork images so had to buy both the girl and the boy images. This is the boy one and dont you just love the look on his face?
Coloured with copics pens, the backing paper was my bargain 8 x 8 pad from Dunelm which cost me all of £3... a First Edition pad called 'Up and Away' it and it has some lovely glittery papers.
Used my Joy daisy dies and my SU border die...the letter are also from the paper pad..
Its still very cold today so wont be going far, baby sitting this afternoon which is always a joy...

Double take.....
I knew as soon as I saw this gorgeous digi image from Saturated Canary I had to have her... The image is called 'Double Take'...
Coloured with both copics and pencils and I just added a little bit of glitter to her dress...backing papers are from Stampin Up and so is the lovely Fan embossing Folder.
The lace came from my lovely blogging friend Annie over in Australia...corner dies are from Whimsy Stamps.. At the moment I haven't put a sentiment on the card as I couldn't make my mind up whether it needed one or not in the top left hand corner...what do you think?
Its another very cold day here so think I will get on with some sewing and craft again tomorrow...

Love bugs.....
Its one of my daughters wedding anniversary soon and as I 'forgot' last year (slap on wrist) I thought I would make her card now using another of the gorgeous images from Pre coloured sheet from from Sylvia Zet..
Keeping the card quite simple as my daughter doesn't like 'fussy' cards.
I've used mauves again but this time used some kraft paper...the backing papers are from an old Hot of the Press paper flair book called 'Purple Petite Prints' and the kraft papers is from one of the LOTV Nitwit paper pads 'Krafty Christmas'...
The embossed strip which you can hardly see is a Stampin Up border, Memory Box hanging hearts die, and the corners from an EK Success punch.
Off to patchwork today to do a bit more on my African Tote bag I am making, hopefull by the week end I will have a picture to show you.
Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday wishes...
What a glorious day, the sun is out and it really does feel like spring is on its way....
On Saturday I went out with 3 friends to a craft event which really wasn't worth the effort but did pick up a couple of sheets of Sylvia Zet pre-coloured images which I fell in love with and this is one of the images. All I have done is to add a touch of glitter to the actual image..
Backing papers are from the 'Back to Basics' pad by Dovecraft, Spellbinders lattice die for the background, the pretty border die is from Stampin Up. Butterfly stamp is from a Simply Besotted set and I have also used a couple of Memory Box dies, Blooming Violet and I've used some of the foliage from the Fresh Foliage die..

Double Dutch project
This was the other project we did at craft club a Double Dutch card.
Not easy to photograph but the card is made up of two bits of card the bottom piece being a small gatefold, and the top of the other piece of card is folded down the card is then closed by using ribbon or can be left open.
I've used the SU Young Vermillion stamp and SU papers on my bird card.
I used one of the 3D stickers from the Valentines sheet but made it into a Get Well card...papers also from 'Me to You' paper pack, and have also used the SU tab punch so that I can put ribbon around the card to keep the gatefold closed.
My last sample to show you is the fabulous little Penny Black stamp and have used S.U. papers.... Sorry for the rubbish photos...
It's now time to make a start on next months projects....
Hope you are having a great weekend...
