Poinsettia card...

When I receive my SU orders from Jill my lovely SU Demonstrator there is usually a little 'Freebie' inside.  Last time I had this beautiful poinsettia...I carefully added some colour to the petals and leaves then added a few little sticky pads then popped it on a 5 x 5 card..another Christmas card for my box.

Its very hot today down here in Somerset much too hot for me to sit outside...

Hope you all enjoy the weekend but keep safe.....we're staying put...

More Positive Thoughts

Can't believe its Saturday once again the weeks are just flying by.

Another card made from the Positive Thoughts stamp set....its always difficult making sympathy cards to send to men but thought the feathers would be nice.
After stamping the sentiment  decided to cut it up but not sure whether I should have left it....

Its a very muggy morning here in Somerset but they do forecast thunder for us later...so time in the craft room I think.

Have a good weekend..

Rosetta...

It's amazing what you find when clearing out crafty stash...I found several toppers from the Hobby House including this little lady who is called Rosetta....the image is pre-coloured so just needed to add background papers, ribbon & roses...a very quick card to make..

I've tried to be good it getting rid of crafty stuff but after 25 years of card making there's an awful lot of stuff.....and as we know trends are changing all the time in paper crafting...but what is it that they say 'what goes around comes around'.....I reckon its going to take months as my craft room is a bedroom with fitted wardrobes...which are full...as we all know us crafter's are hoarders....but I have to down size because I know we will downsize house wise at some point....

Have good weekend whatever you have planned

I do love to be beside the seaside...

Made this card a couple of weeks ago, DSP and stamps are all from Stampin Up.....there's nothing nicer than listening to the sea.
I'm still sorting through my craft room and finding things I didn't know I had its going to take a while but I do a little bit every day...

That's it from me today short and sweet...

Thanks for stopping by

Celebrate...

I suppose we can celebrate a little bit now that the hairdressers, dentist, and cafe's are starting to open up again.

My hubby had a dental appointment yesterday morning, so  we walked into town but before coming home stopped and had a coffee which was really nice....it actually felt a bit like a normal day...with social distancing !...

This is small 5 x 5 card was made using the Happy Birthday to You SU stamp set...again I've only used the pretty flowers.
I've used the subtle SU 3D embossing folder then stamped it with Versamark.

I'm in the middle of having a craft room clear out which is going to take me a long time so not so not a lot of crafting is going on...

Thanks for stopping by

This little Piggy....

Just loved the 'This little Piggy' stamp set from SU..... made this little card using a piece of embossed card from my snippets box.... a little image that you could use for lots of different occasions...

We have sunshine today after yesterday torrential downpours...planted some new shrubs so it saved me watering them last night.

Can't believe how quickly the weeks seem to be passing by and we've had the longest day....just pleased we've been in lock down through the summer and not Winter...
Have a good week-end and take care ...I think roads and places are going to be very busy this weekend...but we are staying put at home.
