Managed to find these letters and snowflake in my bits box so I was able to make a very quick CAS card for Pixies Snippets playground this week and of course its another Christmas card for my stack.
There are some lovely things on offer on the challenge this week so why not pop over and take a look or even better join in..

Botanical Blooms....

Cant believe its so long since I last posted but its been a busy month...anyway had a couple of hours to myself this morning and so hada chance to play with a new set of Stampin Up dies that I bought called Botanical Blooms.
I love this set because you can use up all your scraps of card to make your flowers which is exactly what I did...the sentiment comes from the S U set Afterthoughts set...
Sorry I've also neglected my blogging friends but hope to catch up with you all over the weekend..

I'm hoping to have a day in the craft room on Sunday..

Thanks for looking

Pixie's Snippet challenge ...week 254

Thes little rabbits started off part of  a scenic card which ended up in the bin but decided to resuce part of the card i.e. the rabbits and together with other scraps I managed to made a card which is ideal for this weeks Pixies Snippets Playgound challenge .
The little rabbits are part of a Hobby Art set (which we can see in a previous  post) just added another rabbit, found the hanging snowflakes and the sentiment in my scrap box...the snow background is a Memory Box die  ...so in the end I managed to piece a card together!

Paperback Wreath....

Another recycled paperback.....this time I've made a wreath and apart from a little bit of glitter in the centre with the glittery bauble I've left the pages of the book as they were....you can ink your papers, spray them or even glitter them if you wish but I think they look nicer left plain.....

I know some people think that its a sin to destroy books but these were destined for the recycling plant so all  I've done is to recycled them myself... I like to use really old books as you get a lovely brown-sepia edge to the papes but if you like it white then use one thats less aged... our local library also sell their unwanted books for 10p each and depending on the size of the book you can either make one or two of these small wreaths from it...

I'm hoping these might sell at my craft fair...
