Baby fairy....

 

I love these pre-coloured baby fairy images from Hobby House... I've struggled to get a good photograph this morning as the weather is awful its raining and blowing a gale and its so dark...because my card is on a slant it looks like the fairy is about to topple over!

I've used part of a Tonic Lattice die to mount her on, flowers were in my 'bit box' and so was the little green swirl...

I seem to have lost another 5 followers again this morning Mr Blogger is certainly messing around...gggrrrrr

Pixies Snippets Challenge week 213...

 

 I got this idea for a Christmas card from a card I saw at my daughters when we visited over Christmas I came home and made this card so I'm entering it into

For my card for  Pixies Snippets challenge this week I've used and old Hobby Art Stamp called Ellie....she was sitting in my box ready to be put on a card...

all the other elements are from from snippets box except the sentiment which I've done on the computer.

Arianna blooms...

 This is a card  I made for my friend Janet who's birthday it was yesterday.

I thought it was time I stamped my Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms.  Jan loves parchement so I decided to stamp and emboss onto white parchment and coloured the flowers from behind with Copic pens.  I also added the behind the flowers one of Sue Wilsons Filigree Poinsetta dies which I thought looked effective instead of green leaves.
The embossing folder came free with Papercraft Essential magazine last year, backing paper is from Stampin Up.

We have sunshine down here in Somerset this morning which is lovely to see after all the rain we've had lately.

Pixies Snippets Playground week 211....

 

Its quite a while since I did a Pixies Snippets challenge but as I had together this little card it snippets thought I would be ideal for Di's challenge.

The sweet image is a bit it of recylcing from a birthday card I had, the little flower and pink background was in my parcel from Anneke along with the little metal daisy.

Just to remind you....

 You may have already heard that Google is going to start the process of cleaning out and streamlining how people access Blogger.

If I understand it correctly, that means if you don't have a Google account and you follow me via the blue "Join This Site" button (Google Friend Connect), you will be dropped as a follower as of Monday, January 11, 2016.

 I'm not for sure if the ONLY way you can leave a comment in the future is by the first choice of a "Google account," but I know some of those other options are disappearing. So just to be safe, if you set up a Google account, you will be able to leave comments on anybody's blog.

Its such a pain I know hopefully I will still be able to follow all my friends...

Thank you cards....

 Its my first day back in school today as a volunteer and yesterday I made a couple of thank cards to thank you the two classes I work with for their Christmas presents they gave me.

 

  I've  used up scrap bits of card and designer paper  from my Stampin Up  bit box, how come it never seems to get any smaller??

Its lovely to see the sun shining this morning instead of the awful rain we've had.

Clearing my desk....

 

I am trying to clear up my desk  from last year and use everything thats on it!  This lovely LOTV image is another image Anneke sent me...

Everything on my card is from my bit box that sits on my dest except the buttons..

I have decided that in the month of January I am NOT buying any crafty bits, I suppose like lots of you I have cupboards and drawers full of 'stuff' not used so although I haven't made any New Year resolutions I am determined to use what I have, I know its very tempting when you see new things especialaly dies  but theres also another part of me that says 'when do you stop'.... I've been crafting for 20 years now and there must be things lurking in the backs of drawers and cupboards that haven't seen the light of day for years. I know my friend Val is reading this smiling and say 'yeah right'..lOl..lOl..

We have started sorting our house out getting rid of things that we dont use or want any more.. we've done the loft, and two bedrooms so far....I'm  dreading doing my craft room but it just needs to be done but I'm afraid its going to take several months!!...
