Shed card....

At the Shepton Mallet craft show I went to last week I picked up a set of dies called 'Garden Tools' which I thought I could make use of...
I made a  little shed using the Stampin Up Hardwood die...and cut some of the dies.. there is also a spade and another hand tool in the set....

Backing paper from my stash....as we all know mens cards are so difficult to make at times but I was pleased how this one turned out...

Pixie's Snippets Playground week 122.....

Last week was the first time I joined in Pixie's Snippets Playground and I was lucky enough to win the challenge...Beginners luck I would say.. but its a great way of using up all those off bits of paper and card...
.
My card this week is a Penny Black image called 'Born Wild'...the snippets of DP are from LOTV...I've used my new Stampin Up Banner dies.

Hardwood stamp....

Having bought the Stampin Up Hardwood stamp I wasn's quite sure what to do with it....but this is my first effort....  kept it simple by just adding a Memory Box bicycle stamp,  it looks like a childs bike up against the fence (perhaps I should have made a smaller card) and using the Tesatina die for trellis added a Memory Box small vine die and some tiny punched flowers.
For the sentiment I've used Stampin Up Banner Blast stamp set...

Cant believe its Friday again so hope you all have a great weekend

Pixie's Snippets Playground challenge week 121....

A couple of weeks ago Diane from Pixie's Crafty workshop asked me if I would like to join in the Snippets Playground challenge after reading that I have a box full of snippets...this week I've actually managed to make a card for the challenge...

The 'Thank you' was a die cut that came with a craft  order some time ago, the corners are made from the centre square from the Mexican die which I cut into quarters, backing paper an odd bit in my scrap box and the flowers were felt over from a SU project what I did..I know my card isn't quite straight but not sure I like the slanted look of the die either...anyway at least I've made a card...

Hope you all enjoyed the Easter weekend, a mixture of weather down here in deepest Somerset, but today the sun is out but its chilly...

Happy Easter....

No card today as we still have the grandchildren staying but I've posted a picture of some delicious cupcakes that my daughter has made for Easter, just love the little rabbit going down into his rabbit hole....Sally has her own little cake business which she only  started in November but it's really taken off...everything you see is edible as it's all sugar paste the trouble is you just want to look at them they look too good to eat.

Hope you all have a lovely Easter...

Happy Birthday Rubie....

Today is our eldest granddaughters birthday she is 8 years old.
Rubie loves pink so naturally her card had to be pink..

The image is a pre-coloured Elizabeth Bell one from a sheet called  'Summer time'...   and I've just added some Crystal lacquer on her headband, flowers  and bow...

I was lucky enough to pick up the Cheery Lynne 'Dutch Doily Frame' half price at the last craft show I was at, backing papers are from Craft Creations..

Little bit of recycling.....

Just had to re-cycle this gorgeous vintage image...I used Spellbinders dies to cut it out and mounted it onto some patterned black and white backing paper which I've had in my stash for a long time....the corner dies are from Cuttlebug...

Have a great weekend whatever you are doing...
