Simple Spring card....

A quick Spring card using one of the LOTV Art Pad flower images thought it would make a lovely get well card as well, kept it really simple just added a little butterfly and  some ribbon and mounted it onto Spellbinders Grand Labels 23 die....

It  has been quite a warm day here in Somerset despite the odd little shower but its so nice to see all the Spring flowers in the garden....

Woodlands scene....

I've been playing around with dies again and time with the Taylored Expressions Silver Birch tree dies. 
 After trying  different backgrounds I decided to keep it black so made a moon to make it look like night... The deer dies are from Impression Obsession, other dies used Martha Stewart grass and the leaves are from part of a Memory Box die. small bird also Memory Box

Its Brian's birthday today so Happy Birthday Brian and have a lovely day...

Tomorrow I'm off to Westpoint to the Cake show with my daughter so looking forward to that...

Stampin Up Make & Take....

I had a small Stampin Up party for my friend Jill of Jill Stamps Up who has recently become a Stampin Up Demonstrator.  We made this pretty card as our make and take...I love all the new colours...  Jill also had a lovely selection of cards she had made to inspire us as well doing demonstrations with the Envelope Punch Board.
Thank you to my friends who came and thank you to Jill....  

The sun is shining here so although I should be sewing this afternoon I think I will spend some time in the craft room..

A little bit of Vintage....

I found this gorgeous image on the internet and thought it would be ideal for my lovely friend Vicky who's birthday it was on Monday.
Backing paper I have had for a long time so cant tell you where it came from, the dies I have used are both Joy dies...just added a flower and a few pearls...

I've been spending some time playing with some of my many dies and have made a few cards some of which I cant post yet as they are birthday cards...

Wedding Card.....

Not the best of photographs as it was taken on a dark and miserable day....

Background embossing folder is one of Sue Wilson's called 'Lattice Heart', the corner dies are from Spellbinders, flowers are  Asters from Heartfelt Creations, leaves although they look grey are silver and cut from a Crafts Too die called 'Entwinded'. Hanging Hearts from Memory Box, and I've used a Justrite stamp to pop my Sentiment in...

Its another cold morning here in Somerset but they hey have promised us some sunshine...

Crafty Bunch Craft night.........

We finally managed to have our Crafty Bunch meeting last night its the first time we've met up this year since all the floods.

Our two projects were a Criss Cross card and Men's cards, here are a few of my samples:

                                          I used Pion Design papers for this card....

 Heartfelt Creations paper and dies, plus Stampin Up punch for the borders.

 On this card I cut the fronts of the card the wrong way but instead of throwing it in the bin decided as the card actually stood up to leave it....Spellbinders dies on the front and a pre coloured image in the middle of the card..

 The Vintage image on this card I found on the internet...isn't she gorgeous...the papers are old K&Co ones and the dies are Spellbinders.

 The girls had this mans shirt project that they could also make, which is so quick to do...if you go onto Jill Lackfords blog, Jills Quills you will see a lovely colour selection of mens shirt  cards...

We did a lot of men's sample cards using sets of Stampin Up stamps that we have in our library box....most of my samples you have seen before but I did make this quick card yesterday morning from scraps of images using Stampin UP 'Wetlands Set'......stamped the reeds on the coloured card with Versamark, used a Stampin Up border punch....
The girls also stamped images so that they could take them home to make to colour and make cards with.  I think we all stuggle with mens cards but hopefully get gave our ladies a few ideas...

Its a very cold and foggy morning down in Somerset with no signs of clearing at the moment...but hopefully the sun will shine through at some point..

Its tidy up time in the craft room now ready to start again.

Sentiment card...

I've made another hinged card this time using the Spelbinders 'Timeless Tectangles' and just a simple 'Happy Birthday' sentiment...

Backing papers are Stampin Up....and the sentiment is Hobby Art, just added a few pearls and punched out some tiny flowers to complete my card...

It's our club night tomorrow night, we've had to cancel January and February meetings due to the flooding so it will be nice to see everyone again...

The sun seems to have taken a day off today and its quite chilly....still at least we've got no rain...

Stampin Up Extravaganza Day.....

What a fantastic day we had with Jenny Moors from Stamping moments yesterday and look at all the fabulous things we made.. My camera is playing up a the moment so the colours aren't that brilliant on some of the pictures... the colours we manily used were Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding, Baked Brown Sugar and ivory...

A fabulous little pop up bird house and flowers....

 We decorated a frame with the rolled rose die....

This was a little gift wallet there money or a voucher can be tucked inside the pouch with sat 'Wishing you a Wonderful day'

We are already looking forward to our next one which will be the Christmas Extravaganza on 27th September...

Thank once again Jenny for giving us such a fabulous day....you do work so incredibly hard producing these gorgeous projects and  thank you also  to Jenny's mum Sue who always looks after us food and drink wise...

Cinema Chic......

This is another image from Kraftyhands  from a sheet called 'Cinema Chic', backing paper is from Craft Creations, the cogs punched from an old SU punch, the ribbon looks wrinkled in the photograph but it just the light catching it....

Looks like we are in for some lovely weather over the next few days according to the weather men just hope they are right....

We have our Stampin Up day on Saturday with the lovely Jenny Moors from Stamping Moments so I will let you know what we make....

Teacup..Zoo......

We had a lovely day at Farnborough on Friday, think I must be getting old as it took me a good day to get over it...lOl...lOl.

Didn't spend a lot of money, bought a few dies, cards and a couple of other bits...amongst my haul was some gorgeous images from a Company called Krafty Hands, this is an image from their Tea Cup Zoo toppers, lots of different animals all sat in or on teacups...  My backing papers are very old Stampin UP ones, border punch is Cheery Lynne one called 'Francesca'. the corners are punched...

I have an order for 60 mixed cards so all my pre-printed images will come in very handy....
