Less is more challenge....week 68

The challenge this week from Less is More is a theme and the theme being a baby or child card.
As I haven't been in my craft room at all this week as I have been busy sewing and of course the weather has been too nice to stay in.
I've used one of the 'For Ever Friends' stamp which doesn't appear to have a name on it...used my new embossing folder from Craft Too called Dotty Frame and all I've done is to emboss the centre of the folder twice more once  in pink and again in white then cut these two out and stamped my image on the white then popped a couple of pads under the other two layers... ribbon is from stash.

Hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather...

Penny Black Challenge....week 202

Another great challenge from Penny Black Saturday challenge and this weeks challenge is RECYCLE....
I wasn't quick off the mark this morning I actually made this card the other week but as I had used recycled letters from a baby card my daughter had received a couple of years ago it was ideal for todays challenge.
The stamp is Cat on the Moon, coloured with copics and added a little bit of glitter on the moon then mounted it onto a Nestie die, the  Embossed square is from Craftwork Cards, Backing paper is from Stampin Up.
Have a great weekend whatever you do.

Less is More...week 67

One layer use 3 stamps is the challenge over at Less is more this week.
I have struggled to make this card as I have an eye infection and have a constant weepy and blurred eye but at least I've done the challenge!
My 3 stamps I have used are, the postage frame and the image are from Judikins the sentiment is from Stampendous.  Stamped the frame then sponged colour using fluid chalks before stamping the Zebra's from the African cube stamp.
Our Careers day went really well but there were certainly a lot more young careers there this year than last year. But the ladies and gentlemen who joined our crafting class all went home with a completed card and a box to keep a packet of tissues in.

Penny Black Challenge....week 201

This weeks challenge over at Penny Black is called 'In the Garden'.
Lazy Days is the name of this stamp which has been coloured with Copic pens.
Backing papers and card is all from Stampin Up.. Sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly. Whimsey Corner die and Memory Box branch also used, just added a couple of faux brads.
Today I am going to do some more sewing on my granddaughter quilt and tomorrow I will be at Dillington House, Somerset with my friend Janet doing a craft day for Careers, we have been invited to do this now for the last 3 years, its a lovely day and also gives careers a day to spend doing an activity of their choice the craft workshop is always a very popular one...

New Home............

Apart from this little card no crafting got done over the weekend, Saturday I spent sewing, making a start on my granddaughters quilt and yesterday we went out to Barrington Court...walking through the gardens and of course having tea...It's back to rain today...for a change!!
Back to my card, its a quick New Home card. I decided to make a little birdhouse using Tim Holtz wood effect embossing folder, the Stampin Up bird punch and S.U. scallop punch, just stamped a few leaves behind the house using one of the Inklylicious leaf stamps.
I am going to attack my pile of ironing this morning but will be craft in the craft room this afternoon.

Scented message...........

Another easel card which is unusual for me because I find them hard to photograph so don't normally put them on my blog! Just had a quick play with a new Penny Black stamp called Scented message...not very happy with my card but as I don't have anything else to show you and I haven't posted for a couple of days its better than nothing..lOl...lOl.
Kept this card pretty simple...coloured with Copics and have used distress inks around the edge..but thats a bit too heavy handed! Backing papers are from Papermania.... Punches used are all Stampin Up..
I think everyone is fed up with the rain now everyday seems to be the same although Tuesday was beautiful...hopefully we will have a drier weekend or so they say!

Thanks for looking
