Fishing........

I just love LOTV stamps...and I cant wait to see their new stamps which are being launched tomorrow.....
This image is called fishing, coloured with pencils,
backing paper is from my stash. Cuttlebug bubbles across the centre and I found 2 little fish buttons in my 'bit' box so decided to put them on the card also. Sentiments is a Personal Impressions stamp.

Penny Black Challenge....

Penny Black challenge for this week is 'In the Garden'.
The stamp I've used is called 'Nap Time' which I have coloured with pencils and copics.
Found some blue vellum with daises on in my stash, I've also used Crafts Too Daisy embossing folder, MS small scallop edge punch, small daisy punch and cuttlebug flower die behind the computer generated message. Decided to make this into a baby card as I didn't have a card for a boy.

Bah Humbug.....Challenge

This weeks Bah Humbug challenge 'Silhouettes'
I found very easy as I had an image already printed off.
Image is from one of Joanna Sheens CD's, Dancing with Shadows', printed onto acetate and then I have mounted it onto white glitter card. Kept the card very simple by just layering up black, silver and white card.
Brads were used to attache the acetate to the card.

Friends challenge.....

When I met my friend Val last week for coffee we both bought some Papermania 'Hampstead' papers and some lace so we decided it would be fun to both make a card using our new papers and the lace we had just bought. We also decided to use the same stamp image which is the Floral Diplay stamp by Hobby Art.
This is what I have done, I decided to use the greens out of the pack and also I've used MS stewart lace edge punch and of course pop on a few pearls!

Bah Humbug challenge.....

Bah Humbugs challenge this week is ribbons.
Took a piece of glittered card punched 3 holes in it the took a piece of gold card and punched a smaller hole and placed behind the larger hole, if that makes sense!
Took some handmade gold card and placed 3 die snowflakes on it with pads. Mounted it then onto black card then added ribbon to the botton 2 corners before placing it onto gold glitter card. SU window punch used for sentiment.

Penny Black Challenge.....

Havent posted much this week as we have been making the most of this lovely weather.
This weeks Penny Black challenge is lots of dots.
Dotty background paper is SU Rose Red.
Penny Black image is called 'Hedgehog joy', and is coloured with pencils. For the tiny flowers I had some very small die cut flowers so have put a pearl 'dot' in the centre of them.
Frame is made with the SU scallop punch and for the flower I have used my new Nellie Snellen floral punches which are lovely they come as a 'pair' of punches one for punching out and the other for embossing...leaf is also Nellie Snellen.
Senitment is a Craftwork Cards one.

Floral Display.....

I love this stamp it's by Hobby Art and is called 'Floral Display'.
Image coloured with Prismacolour pencils, again I've used 2 scraps of card one being the pink Cuttlebug swiss dots and the other a line of MS scallop border punch. Backing paper I found in my box so sorry I can't tell you who's it is, but the pink and olive green are SU colours. SU Old Olive ribbon also used.

Vintage Vogue..

Thought I would make the effort to try and use up some of the small pieces of card that I have left over from previous cards and projects so this is my first 'scrap' card!
This card is made using the SU Vintage Vogue set, backing paper and card is also SU. The colours I have used are Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery. I've even used up 2 odd brads but luckily I did have one pink and one green!

Penny Black challenge....

This weeks Penny Black challenge is flowers.
My card is quite somber and I think perhaps because of whats been happening this week....
anyway the stamp image is called 'Aspire'. Stamped and coloured using Distress inks then cut out using Nestabilities.
Backing papers are from Papermania Aqua Pack, prima flowers in the corner. Punches used; MS Loop, SU photocorner, ribbon and I think I've OTT with the pearls on this one!!

Bah Humbug challenge.....

It's nice to be back in my craft room again.
This weeks Bah Humbug challenge is punched borders.
I have used Fiskars Snowflake punch and emboss border punch. Stamped one the the Judikins angels onto shrink plastic shrunk her then added some gold for her wings and halo. Placed her onto a star and placed ribbon behind the star before placing on the card.
Star backing paper is from my stash but have also added the tiny snowflakes from the border punch and added a some glitter to them.

Penny Black challenge

Penny Black challenge this week is a card plan.
The image I have used is called 'Descent'.
Coloured with pencils and mounted onto Nestabilities. Backing papers areBasic Grey Euphoria. Prima flowers and card candy and punched circles.
Wont be have time to craft now for a couple of weeks...so see you all then.

Bah Humbug challenge....

Had a spare hour last night so quickly did this
weeks Bah Humbug challenge which is Christmas food but I didn't have a stamp so had to improvise with this re-cycled image and added a stamped image of a christmas pudding.

A sad day but a Happy Card.........

My father in law sadly passed away last night so wont be doing much crafting over the next week or so as there are lots of things that need to be done.
Just a fun card to post today made from SU punches including the flower which is made from the wing of the SU bird punch and also the branch. SU card and papers also used, the sentiment is one of Tim Holtz ticket messages.

Time to smell the Flowers.....

Still recovering from our long drive on Monday to Birmingham to see Dancing on Ice, 3 hours to get there and then we had to drive back after the show, but it was well worth it. The show was just amazing, we had fantastic seats close to the ice just brilliant.
Just fell in love with this stamp....its a Stampabilites Housemouse stamp called ' Time to smell the flowers'.
Backing paper is from SU but cant remember the name! SU card and ribbon.

Shrink Plastic......

Next week is our Craft Club night again and this time one of the projects is shrink plastic, not one of my favourites I must admit. I've made 6 sample cards but as I have nothing to post today thought I would post one of them.
The card is pre-embossed. This bird and leaves are from the new SU bird punch.
I stamped a large dragon fly onto frosted shrink plastic, colour it with chalks, put a few veins on the wings then shrunk it down, shaped the wings whilst it was still warm and added a little bit of glitter on the tips of the wings. Added a few gems in the centre of the flowers.
