Penny Black Challenge......card sketch

This weeks Penny Black challenge is a card plan.
I have used this little PB stamp called 'Fetching Slippers'. Coloured him with Copic pens.
Backing paper is Bloom & Grow by MME, the paw print ribbon I bought in France a couple of years ago while on holiday...I knew it would come in handy one day!!

So Cute.....

Just had to have a play with some of my new goodies that I bought at Farnborough. New stamp from Lilly of the Valley called Rosie Posy, stamped and coloured with Copic Pens and mounted on circle nestabilties. Backing paper is Papermania Blueberry Hill. Martha Stewart med monarch butterfly, punched and glittered and then added pearls. Martha Stewart border punched calledPunch Daisy Lace, Woodware Frond leaf punch. Prima flowers,rose and ribbon from stash.

Bah Humbug ..Trees

This weeks Bah Humbug challenge is trees.
Used my brass tree stencil and covered it with Dreamweaver Embossing paste then put fine glitter on the top. Put it onto a square scallop Nestie and layered it up with silver (which doesn't show up).
Martha Stewart Icicle border punch along the bottom, ribbon from stash.

A Little bit pearly.....

Just tried a pre-schedule post to see whether it works.....
I visit a friend once a week and we have a little challenge this is the image that she gave me last week to 'play' with.
The image has been coloured with copic pens.
I've used SU Designer Backing papers, Nestabilty Ovals and have added tiny pearls to the scallops. Martha Stewart large Monarch butterfly which I have put glitter behind and added feelers. SU eyelet border punch used and I have added more pearls.

Anniversary Card

It's my youngerst daughters wedding anniversary on Monday so have made this little card for them.
Penny Black image 'Tea Cosy', stamped the mice twice and 3D them, cut out stamped image and mounted onto Cuttlebug Swiss dots circle cut out with a Nestabilities.
The backing paper is SU Rainbow Sherbert, Prima flowers with brads, leaves punched with a McGill punch, card Candy also used. Ribbon from stash.
No post tomorrow as I am off to Farnborough craft show with friends.....ooohhh wonder what I'll come home with....will let you know.

Bloomin with Beauty

Just love this SU set....So Saffron and Old olive SU card used on this card, backing paper is from SU Haiku designer paper set. En Francais background stamp has been stamped behind the flower image. Flowers have been 3D. Cutttlebug Swiss Dot folder used across the middle. Bee is mounted using Cuttlebug flower die.

And another Dreaming Pixie....

This will be the last Pixie card that I post as I expect you are fed up with seeing them!!
For the background on this card I used a re-cycled Christmas card, large oval nestie and some flowers that were in my stash. Added a feather as she looked like she was resting in mid air....
Martha Stewart border punch used across with bottom with a few small gems.
Right going to make 2 more of these as I would like to do a Christmas card using this image.

PB challenge....Pink - Green - Yellow

Firstly congratulations to Fabiola on winning last weeks challenge.....
This weeks Penny Black challenge is Pink, Green and Yellow.
The stamp I've used this week is challed 'Why am I smiling'. Coloured with water colour pencils and chalks. layered onto pink and greeen card and I've use Fiskars Apron Lace punch on the side.
Backing paper is from stash so is the flower.
Cuttlebug flower die with computer generated sentiment.

Another Pixie card...

Another Pixie card finished....very gold and glittery although the photograph doesn't show up very well. Again I have put her onto a round nestability. Coloured her with pencils and just added glitter. Put tiny little white stars behind her.
Backing paper I found in my box it was already glittered so that saved me a job!
Punched out the large Monarch butterfy in gold glitter paper them stuck dark brown glitter paper behind it. MS lace border (which I have resisted buying) but punched this at a friends this morning, also put gold glitter card behind the flowers then sponged the edges.
I have 3 more card to make up but wont do those for a few days.

Willow Dancing.....

This is on of the new Whiff of Joy stamps called 'Willow Dancing'.
Made a mess of her hair as I picked up the wrong Copic pen so she's a bit of a 'brassy blonde'.....
Backing paper from stash the small peice of paper going across is SU designer paper, Flourishes are from Cuttlebug, flower made up of 2 SU petals and a prima petal with a papermaana brad in the middle. Punches used, SU and Martha Stewart.

Organic Grace.....

Haven't made a card for 3 days as I have had two of my grandchildren staying....lovely to have them but it does now seem quiet without them. We managed to do a little card making yesterday they wanted to make a card for mum and dad, why is it they just love glue and glitter??

Anyway back the this card, one I made a little while ago using the SU Organic Grace stamp set. Flowers stamped onto orange card and then bleached out and 3D them onto the card.

Pixie Dreaming.....


The other day a package arrived from my friend Gill and inside was 6 cards, backing papers, stamped images, butterflies and even cut out nesties. Gill asked me if I would make up some cards for her 'my way' so that when we meet up next week we can compare cards.
So I cut out two Pixies 3D them and put then on a nestie, coloured her and glittered her wing. Used the SU border eyelet punch, added ribbon and pearls. Added tiny gems to her punched out butterflies.

Penny Black challenge - Happy Valentines

Penny Black's challange this week is Happy Valentine so have used this lovely stamp called 'Cupful of Love'.
Decided not to do the usual red card as I can then also use this for my daughters wedding anniversary card.
Stamped and coloured the imge with chalks, then mouned up of oval Nestabilities, I also used the small Nestabilies to cut out the small heart.
The back paper comes Pizzaz Vintage book. Punched a border with Martha Stewart Dioley Lace punch then put into the hearts some 'waste' pint hearts that I have saved, crafters never throw anything away!
Leaf punch is a L-EM pone, SU window punch, roses are from Wild Orchid crafts, pearls and pin from The Hobby House. Ribbon from stash.

Craftwork Cards W - For Wrap


Craftwork Cards challenge this week is W - for Wrap. I used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder on the wrap, and put acetate behind. I found a paper tissue that was oriental so put some Mod Podge on it and stuck it onto a piece of card let it dry and then cut it fit behind the acetate. Coloured one of the little Craftwork card dolls then put pads bebind her. Found a black tassle in my box along with a coin so put those on the cards. Punched out two different sized blossoms and put a little gem in the centre and added black punched leaves.

Bah Humbug........Snowmen

This weeks Bah Humbug challenge is Snowmen.
The stamp is a Hobby Art one and is called 'Juggling Snowman'.....have painted him with Copic pens, glittered his hat, used glitter snow for the bottom and put minature pom poms for the snowballs. Large scallop circle nesties have used to mount him on.
The backing paper I think is Papermania, the snowflake die is the large Cuttblebug Snowflake die with a papermania brad in the centre, Cuttlebug swiss dots across the centre with a couple of card candy dots on. Sentiment is computer generated.

Craftwork Card Challenge T - is for Template


Craftwork cards challenge this week is T for Template.
I have stamped the boot with a small Hero Arts flourish swirl in Timber brown Stazon, added a piece of brown card to both the top of the boot and on the bottom, cut around the bottom and sponged with dark brown ink.
Punched out leaves and stuck them along the bottom, the sentiment is a very old Anita's stamp
which I thought very apt, card candy has then been added to the top of the boot.

Valentines.....



It's club night again tomorrow and this months card of the month has to be of course Valentines.
This is another image from Mo Manning. This little image is called 'Your my best boy'.....
Coloured with Copic Pens, Background paper is a SU designer paper, Marther Stewart Heart Lace punch used on the sides.
The little red crochet flowers was made by my friend Carolynne....the green paperflower is a from a Imaginisce. Pearls from the Hobby House.

Paul texting....

Another one of Mo Manning's digital images. This one is called 'Paul texting' and is ideal for a teenager, cards for teenagers are often difficult to make so this image is great.
Image has been coloured with copic pens. Backing paper is from Basicgrey 'Mellow' range. Corners are from the Sizzix Sizzlits photo corner 2# set, Su punches also used as well as card candy.

Penny Black ..Pins and Pearls


This weeks Penny Black challange is Pins and Pearls..
I've used the Penny Black 'Letter & Daisy' stamp image, sponged the letter background with Adirondack Butterscotch ink pad, coloured the flower heads with pencils and have 3D them. Found the backing paper in my stash so sorry I can't tell you who's it is. Have used the SU Spiral punch, Prima daisy flowers with a Papermania pearl brad in the centre. Pine leaf punch from Mcgill, pins and pearls from stash.

Bah Humbug....HOLLY challenge.

This weeks Bah Bumbug challange is HOLLY......so have used this little Penny Black stamp called 'Christmas dreams'.
Coloured him with watercolour pencils, layered onto Nestabilities., found a piece of Holly vellum in my stash along with part of a card which had a holly corner so also used that.
Red bow with a little 'gem brad' used through the centre, Fiskars threading water punch also used along with SU oval punches.
Saying is computer generated.

Oh so Lovely...


Another card made using the SU 'Oh so Lovely' stamp set....I've used SU Ruby Red card and Ruby Red designer paper but the spotting green background paper is from my stash. Images stamped and colour with pencils. Lace and pearls from stash. Ribbon is SU Always Artichoke.

Daisy Chain.........



This card I have made for a friend of mine she doesn't have a computor so I know I am ok to put it on my blog.
Just love this Penny Black stamp which is called 'Daisy Chain'.
Image has been coloured using watercolour pencils, the backing paper came from my stash, wish I knew where it came from as I would like some more! The lace was a gift when I bought the stamp. The leaf punch doesn't have a name on it unfortunately, flower and pearls from stash. Sentiment came from SU set Pocket Silhouettes.

Craftwork cards.....F for Flowers

Craftwork Cards challenge this week is F for Flowers.
All the element on this card except the backing paper and ribbon are from Craftwork cards.
I made the centre of the frame larger so that I could fit the Happy Birthday sentiment and backing frame inside, alsp sponged edges of the card. Flowers are from their Ritchie Flowers pack I punched out small yellow circles to make centres for the flowers and also punched out leaves from scraps of the backing paper.
