Penny Black Button challange
Well haven't posted for a week as we have been away celebrating our Ruby wedding anniversary but in between washing & ironing etc I've just had time make my Penny Black Button Challenge card.
The stampI have used is called 'Framed Flowers', stamped the image with Versafine Sepia twice and 3D the flowers. I have used lemon baby buttons and I've also put a tiny yellow gemstone in the middle of the buttons. The button backing paper is from my 'stash' and I've tipped the 'Green Tara' flowers with a gold pen and placed a small button and gem in the centre. I've tried to give the card a bit of a 'vintage' look but now I'm not sure!!

PB Challlenge...3 - 2 - 1
The Penny Black challenge this week is 3 -2 -1.
3 flowers, 2 papers and 1 charm or brad, and I know its another pink card but I just happened to have this image already chalked. The PB stamp is called Gifts for You. I have used Green Tea flowers, and brads for the centre. The daisy background paper is from Craft Creation and the spotty one from my stash. Also added a little bit of lace and ribbon, also SU oval punches and sentiment.

A little bit of pink!
Well had a play with my new Copic pens and they are certainly different from any other colouring medium I have used before, but I think a little bit of practice is need????
The stamp is Emily and she is from the Cuddly Buddly range but she looks as if she's been out in the sun for too long....lOl..lOl..... so think I need to concentrate on skin tones a bit more!
I wasn't going to post her but then decided 'what the heck'......hee...hee

Paper Napkin/Serviette Cards
Some of the ladies from our Patchwork group were intrigued by some cards that I had made using paper Napkins/Serviettes.
They asked whether I could show them how to make them so I'm doing a small workshop with them this week.
As these ladies are needleworkers and not card makers I've
kept the cards very simple but thought you would like to look at some of the samples I have made.
The Napkins/Serviettes are coated with Mod Podge and placed on thin card before using.
Thanks for looking;

Another PB Challenge
This weeks Penny Black challange is Black White and any other colour, I have a busy week next week so thought I would make my card early and have chosen green as my other colour. The green is actually much brighter than in the photograph.
The stamp is Penny Black stamp called Flying Stars.....Have used backing paper from my stash and Cuttlebug flower dies, the sentiment is from a SU set called Circle of Friendship.

Harlequin Rose
My friend Val very kindly stamped me some images from her Harlequin Rose stamp set and as they had been on my desk for a few weeks thought it was time I actually did something with them so here's the first one.
The photo doesn't really do the colouts justice, I've use Butterscotch & Lettuce Adirondack alcohol inks as one of the backgrounds, the Hero Arts swirl stamps on the base background, and of course the lovely SU oval punches as well as the SU Spiral punch. I've sponged around the stamped image with SU So Saffron ink.

Just hanging around.....
This card I must have made over 10 years ago, although I have revamped the front slightly I found it in a drawer that I was clearing out , but thought you might like to see it!! Gosh how stamping has changed and of course we didn't have computors of our own and my crafting kit fitted a baby box from Mothercare!!! The rubber stamp was from a company called Rubber Stamp Craft which I dont think exsits anymore, but I know at the time I bought the cat and a dustbin and thought I could do several cards using both stamps, My friend at the time was building a dolls house and gave me some of the rood paper which I decided would make a good wall.........I was going to bin the card but decided it will do for a childrens card!

Reflection...
My lovely friend Val very kindly gave me some instructions on how to create a reflection that she had been given by Jenny so this is another project that Jan & I did yesterday.........all the stamped images are from the Forest Friends set....the Happy Birthday is a Personal Impressions stamp.
I've used the SU long scallop border bunch.
Thanks for looking.
'Tender Showers'
A 'Play day'......
Yesterday my friend Jan and I had a lovely day making cards and trying different techniques, heres one of the cards that we made.
The first card we made was this one with a Penny Black stamp called 'Blush', we also tried out one of my new SU rollers 'Flowers Forever', for this we used black card, versamark ink pad and white embossing powder, I added pearls to this when it was on the card. The blush flower was stamped using Verafine, we layed up with silver holographic and black card, the sentiment is from the 'Oval All set' and the new oval punches were used.
