Toot..toot....

Just love these Art pad images from LOTV and this little image is called 'Toot Toot'...ideal when you need lots of cards quickly as they are pre coloured  for you and as I have a craft fair coming up in  November I need lots of quick cards.
I've used papers from one of the LOTV 8 x 8 pads called 'Candles and Cake', put the plain paper through one of my cog embossing folders to give a bit of texture...the 'steering wheel' die is from a cog die set my friend had.... Memory Box banner and the ticket sentiment is from Pink Gem designs...

Double take....

Another busy week so no real time to blog....this is a card I made for my friend Margaret, it was her birthday earlier this week...
I've used the lovely Double Take digi image from Saturated Canary...coloured her with pencils and copics..just added a little glitter to her dress and placed her on the same nesties frame I did my gilding flakes on.
Backing papers are from LOTV Promises 8 x 8 pad.....Cheery Lynn corner die, a little bit of lace and a few pearls. Sentiment is from Craftwork cards...

Cant believe its the weekend again...some commission cards to make but hopefully might get time to make a card over the weekend to post on Monday.

Hope you all have a great weekend..

Gilding Flakes....

Last Thursday I spent a lovely day with my crafting friend Val...its always nice to exchange ideas and also to share stamped images and dies.
Val had shown me a Spellbinders frame that she had gilded using Woodware double sided sticky backed paper instead  of Flitter glue....I came home and created this card.

The lovely scenic image is one I stamped at Val's its a Heartfelt Creations one which I coloured with watercolour pencils. I used a the Garden Lattice embossing folder for the background, Spellbinders tag and the corners are from Whimsy...

right off to do the ironing now!

Christmas Fairy....

Haven't had much time to blog this week so sorry if I've missed any of your posts.
Can't seem to get in the Christmas card making mode at the moment but as my craft fair is at the start of November I need to make a start.  My cards are going to be very quick and easy this year...
This is one of the small LOTV images that used to come on their A4 sheets, not really big enough go onto a 6 x 6 card on its own buts looks quite good in the centre of the Mexican Tile die....
The image is pre-printed so just added a little bit of glitter and a couple of Cuttlebug snowflakes....the embossed background is Spellbinders Dainty Dots.

Have a good weekend...

Ladybug........

I've had this lovely Mo Manning image for quite a while so decided to colour her up yesterday.  Coloured with Copics and mounted onto another new die the Sizzix Doily which also comes with a matching border die but didn't use that on this card.
Backing paper is from Echo Park 'Country Drive' it matched my image as it had ladybirds on it... the little Ladybug dies are from Elizabeth Craft Designs and I've also used Memory Box grassland border....sentiment is from Personal Impressions.

The weathers certainly changed it been raining quite a lot down in Somerset...hope this isn't the end of our sunshine though.

New Home...

Cant believe its been a week since I last posted but I have been making samples for club night next week but also my mojo went walkouts for a few days and finally yesterday it returned....

I've got quite a few dies in my box that I haven't used so thought it was time I blew the dust off and made something.

I only do one craft fair a year which is in November so need to start topping up my card box and I didn't have any new home ones so this is what I came up with.

For the background I used Tim Holts Brick embossing folder and lightly sponged with grey.

The window die is the Grand Madison Window die and window box is the Grand Flower box...my greenery is more lovely little dies I had from my blogging friend Loll.. the trellis is Memory Box Tessatina, M.B Ivy Trellis and flowers I've punched out.  Also used the SU border punch and SU paper for the window dressing.
Sentiment is computer generated.

Looks like we've got lost the sunshine and back to rain today...

Thanks for looking
