Be Bold blooms

We've just had another lovely week away with friends...managed to find enough 'flowers' in my bit box to put together another birthday card using the Be Bold Blooms dies..I've made several cards using this lovely die set...flower dies are always useful to have and are useful for so many occasions.

I will try and catch with all your blogs at some stage...

Thanks as always for stopping by it's very much appreciated..

SU Beary Christmas...

Firstly thank to to those people who emailed and text to see if I was ok....Yes thank you I am...we've been away on holiday and of course the garden has needed  a lot of attention preparing for the Winter....  my craft room faces south which means its far to hot to craft in the extreme heat..I hope that I can get back into the swing of things soon...my mojo also has gone on holiday!

This card is one we made at our last Coffee and card morning...its the SU Beary Christmas...

I need to get things done for my Yearly craft fair which is in November so lots to do for that...

I'll catch up with all your posts soon..

Coffee and card morning...

Its quite a while since my last post...have been doing other projects rather than cards...its always nice to have other crafts to fall back on particularly when you loose your mojo at times....  anyway...yesterday was our monthly coffee and card morning, once again we had a choice of cards to make and I chose this one...dies and stamps from the 'Paper Florist' set...loved the delicate embossing folder...

I've also made a start on my Christmas cards which is very early for me but bought a lovely SU stamp set which was in their sale and when it came I couldn't wait to use it..

Wouldn't it be lovely to have some sunshine they do say next weekend will be warmer...we will see..

thanks for stopping by I do really appreciate it...

Two tone flora...

Just love the SU Two Tone flora stamp set.... the  background die is so pretty and delicate... the flowers are so easy to line up for double stamping...
My mojo has left me at the moment, not sure if it's because of the humid weather or what....hopefully once I get some stamps and inks out some inspiration will come to me...

Coffee and cards...

Yesterday was our monthly Stampin Up Coffee and card meeting...this month we made cards using some of the SU kits and we could make two cards each, I chose to make two of the above cards, the photograph doesn't do the colours justice.

This was the card which I made at the June meeting... I just added the border   the little trellis die and my own sentiment...

Its a little cooler today which makes my craft room nice and cool which is lovely,

Enjoy the rest of your weekend whatever you are doing...

Butterfly & flowers

Phew... my craftoon has  been like a hot house but managed to find 1/2hr early yesterday morning when it was a bit cooler to make a quick card for a poorly friend...
Using a large butterfly die and two images from the old LOTV floral pads my card was quick and easy.

Ironing done early this morning before the it gets hotter, I know we shouldn't complain but I think I've had enough of this heat now...

Thanks for stopping by

Happy Gardening....

I'm Back!  Just spent an lovely week in Newcastle...we went up particularly to go to Beamish Living museum which if you have never been its a fabulous place....you can't see it all in a day and even having spent two days there didn't see it all..  Its our 4th visit and we were lucky enough to see the opening of their 1950's town...it really is like being in another world and brings back so many memories especially if you of are a certain 'age'...  The weather wasn't brilliant and not very warm but no rain, luckily we did have sunshine on our last day.

This is a card I made for my brothers birthday in May...again using two LOTV images and a lattice die, also papers from an old Craftwork card paper pad...

Hope to get back to some stamping now which I have neglected over the past few months... need to to do 'holiday washing' first...

I will catch up with your blogs in the next few days...
