Male birthday card..

It was of  our male friends birthday this week and this is the card I made for him...I used the SU High Tide set to create this scene. Men's cards as we know are very difficult to make unless their interests are golf, football etc...I've also used this stamp set to make sympathy cards it has been a very useful set.

We still have a bit of snow laying around but at least the main roads are free and we can get of out the village today.

Enjoy the rest of yout weekend.

Stamping Day....

Yesterday we had a lovely stamping day with Jill Lackford of Jill Stamps up.....I will post the projects the girls made later....
We used the Stampin Up set High Tide and these are a just a few of the samples I made for our day.
The above card I make as an Anniversary card....

This card I used only the grasses stamp for the branches and the bird stamp from the set....little bit of sponging and created a few hills.

I just love the little bird stamp from the set and used it to make some background paper to create a parcel card...

Again using those cute birds another simple inked card...

My last card to show you is a sunset one...again using the grasses as branches.
Jill produced some lovely 3D projets for the girls to make (will post later)

We had a fabulous day and I think we all come home very tired ...but thank again Jill for all your hard work...

A very Happy Mothers Day to you all you mums out there and hope you are being thoroughly spoilt...

Enjoy the lovely sunny day...
