Butterfly & flowers

Phew... my craftoon has  been like a hot house but managed to find 1/2hr early yesterday morning when it was a bit cooler to make a quick card for a poorly friend...

Using a large butterfly die and two images from the old LOTV floral pads my card was quick and easy.

Ironing done early this morning before the it gets hotter, I know we shouldn't complain but I think I've had enough of this heat now...

Happy Gardening....

I'm Back!  Just spent an lovely week in Newcastle...we went up particularly to go to Beamish Living museum which if you have never been its a fabulous place....you can't see it all in a day and even having spent two days there didn't see it all..  Its our 4th visit and we were lucky enough to see the opening of their 1950's town...it really is like being in another world and brings back so many memories especially if you of are a certain 'age'...  The weather wasn't brilliant and not very warm but no rain, luckily we did have sunshine on our last day.

This is a card I made for my brothers birthday in May...again using two LOTV images and a lattice die, also papers from an old Craftwork card paper pad...

Hope to get back to some stamping now which I have neglected over the past few months... need to to do 'holiday washing' first...

I will catch up with your blogs in the next few days...

Be bold Blooms...

It been a while since I've been in my craft room, having been away on holiday, spending time in the  garden and also other things that needed doing.

This is a card I made for a friend a while ago, its a lovely die set by Spellbinders Etched Dies - Be bold Blooms...

I shall be making the most of this beautiful sunshine in the garden but hopefully finding a little time to craft.

Special day....

I don't think I ever post this card which I made a very long time ago...Using a lovely Creative Expressions embossing folder, and odd flower a couple of leaves mounted onto a couple of die cut ovals...a very simple card to make..

Its a beautiful sunny day down here in Somerset lots of lovely sunshine, makes you feel so different seeing the sun.

With love ...

I knit baby blankets for our local hospital SCUBU baby unit.  I always like to pop in a little card in when I deliver them.....used this sweet image...two images the same but sliced the top one and put some of the stips back on top, doesn't really show up well on the is card, thank you Ann Melvin for the inspiration..

Enjoy what is left of the weekend...we did a little walk this morming before the rain arrives..

Birthday snippets ....

I am still going through my 'bit box' and manage to put another card together using odd dies and a stamped and coloured image..  Embossed background is Creaative Expressions...not sure who's the border die it is but I think that the image and die cut are Stampin Up...

Easter Bunny...

Yes I know its 'that' rabbit again....I only send one Easter card a year and this is it...again I've used SU DSP floral papers and made the little rabbit a swing..the rabbit is now safely tucked away in a box....

We've got April showers today but hoping for some sunshine over the Easter weekend...
