The Cats whiskers...

When I saw this image on my friend Val's blog I loved it ...  Val very kindly stamped a couple of images for me.... they are Trilby Cats from Crafty Individuals...the sentiment is computer generated... 

I have a couple of stamps from Crafty Individuals which I am ashamed to say haven't seen any ink yet...but this is has fired me up to get them out....so watch this space.

It's a miserable day down her in Somerset, cloudy and damp..so I reckon the best place to be is in the craft room.. That's its from me.

Sapphire Anniversary....

Sorry I've been a bad blogger and not posted but I have been busy 'behind' the scenes making birthday and anniversary cards for January and February,  this is the first one I can show you as its our friends Sapphire Anniversary 45 years today....although having posted the card off last Thursday it still hasn't arrived.... I don't think we are getting post everyday now and talking to a couple of friends they think the same...

Anyway again trying to us up my stash I've used a paper doily and an image which I've had for years but can't remember where it came from apart from a craft fair many moons ago....  

Did you know that there are two Sapphire Wedding anniversaries?  I didn't until a friend told me it was their 65th anniversary and this one is called Blue Sapphire Anniversary.... you learn something every day..

Its been very foggy and  frosty here today and I read that snow is on its way for the UK....fingers crossed it doesn't reach Somerset..

First card of 2022

Happy New Year everyone....

First card of 2022 is an old Penny Black image called 'Fetching Slippers'..

Whilst sorting out I have found a folder with a lot of stamped images that just need colouring up so I need to use them.... Trying to be good and to use what I have like many crafters I have bought things that have just sat in the cupboards including stamps...use those paper too that I think 'they are too nice to use'...silly really.

Sorry the photograph isn't very good its a really dark and miserable day here.

Hopefully 2022 will be better than 2021 but we still living with a lot of uncertainty...  all we can do is to try and stay safe....

I think we are just about ready....presents wrapped and under the tree, just the food preparation to do and I'm there.

Classic Cloche...

This is a card I made at a Coffee and card morning a couple of months ago..we used  Stampin Up Classic Cloche set... its a little shaker card.... I made into a 

5"x 7" card...

Haven't had much time to craft as I am trying to get all my Christmas shopping finished...

Some Bunny......

Its been a while since I posted last, having done a craft fair on Saturday which was very successful and also I've been struggling with a chest infection which I am pleased to say is now  getting better.

The rabbit image was a card my hubby received a while ago and as we crafters do we recycle....... thought it would make a nice Anniversary card for a male or even a 'love you' card  .... managed to find a piece of DSP which had all the colours of the rabbit in it... kept it very simple... 

  

Just realized my last two previous posts were rabbits!! ..but they are cute.

Just read that we are in for a snowy and blustery weekend but not sure if it will reach us down here in the South West, snow is lovely to look at but not to drive in but I expect a lot of children are getting excited at the thought of snow..

Pansy Bunny...

It's a while since I posted...had family staying last week which was lovely...

Haven't actually made a card for a while but found this image which I coloured a while ago called Pansy Bunny by Penny Black.

We've been out walking in the sunshine for the last few days and its been lovely.

I am finding it difficult to get motivated crafting at the moment but I think we all have this from time to time.

I need to concentrate on my craft fair now which is two weeks...
