Christmas treat box....

Can't believe I'm posting something Christmassy in June !But when new goodies arrive you just want to play...
Normally when I have my Christmas stall I usually like to have some sort of gift box that can I either fill with chocolates or sell empty for people to pop in their own gift....It's a Spellbinders die set called 'Charming Cottage box...

It's a lovely size box   4" x 2 1/2 ....also a great way to use up your snippets...I will also make some for birthdays..

Have kept the sides quite plain and used up card from my snippets box.....have used pearlized card on the roof and bottom..  As I make more I will post them.

Have a good week whatever you're planning..

A spot of inking....

It's a while since my last post...still having problems and lots of pain with my shoulder, saw a physio this week who told  me it wasn't a frozen shoulder and have got a scan next week....hopefully the scan will show what the problem is.

Got out my box of Lavinia, Card-io and Inkylicious  stamps and decided to have a play with some inks...    I did enjoy putting together a couple of cards.... I'm not very good with the 'faux water bleaching' and on a couple of images I over did it but this card isn't too bad, I definitely need more practice.

Thanks for stopping by

'Thank you' card rescue....

Yesterday  was one of those days in the craft room that just went belly up!  Made a thank you card didn't like it so threw it in the bin...managed to rescue the image and some of the DSP on the card.....made a card from the 'bits' but  I ended up with a black 'blob' on my card which is underneath the top butterfly that's why it looks like its in an odd place...when sending things to our local charity shop I always send up a few cards so this one has gone in my Charity box....
This afternoon I think I will sit outside and do some crochet !!....

Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful sunshine we are having...

Baby Boy card...

Another baby card using the SU Kangaroo set....again I've used some of my mountain of lace around the circle die cut......The backing paper is quite old so can't tell you what it is.

Been spending time in the garden today, bought some new plants to put in but its just too hot for me at the moment.....we always grumble don't we.

Looking forward to meeting up with some crafty friends tomorrow...

enjoy the sunshine.

Anniversary cards....

I've not been around for a week or so as we've been away....  also not a lot of crafting is getting done as I have a very painful frozen shoulder.
The little bird house Golden wedding card I made a few weeks ago for a couple of friends using the SU Bird Ballard DSP.....
It was also our anniversary last week and I did mange to put together this little card for my hubby...even using the Bigshot is very painful so it had to be a very quick card.

Just hoping we get some dry weather it been so wet and cold...we've even had the heating on and its almost the end of May...

I will catch up with your blogs at some stage this week and see what you've all been doing.

Baby Kangaroo....

I've actually booked my first craft fair this year its in November so fingers crossed it all goes ahead.
Checking my stash of cards there are some I am short of them, baby cards being one of them...so I decided to use this cute Kangaroo from SU Kangaroo & Co stamp set. The lace edge die, daisy and ribbon are all from by bit box...Also I have a lot of lace which needs to be used....Paper backing from Pink Petticoat pad.
Hope you all enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend even though the weather wasn't brilliant.

Arrow Fold card....

We ventured out for the first time this week we headed for Weymouth its was lovely, not busy as the children were back in school.  We had a nice walk then   a lovely meal sat out on the quayside.. the sun was so warm and it actually felt like a bit of normality.

There are lots of different card folds around at the moment but thought I would have a try at the Arrow fold card....it is so easy I used a 5" x 7" card.
Found some decoupage in my bit box, added a butterfly and sentiment and it was done...
Hope you've all got sunshine this weekend can't believe its April and its dry....

That's all for from me...thanks for dropping by.
