Easter cards.....

The only Easter cards I make are for the younger grandchildren to put with their Easter Eggs...my lovely friend Michelle very kindly let me borrow her Best Bunny stamp set (crafty friends are so kind in sharing) and these are the cards I've made.

Our youngest grandson Alfie is absolutely Rabbit mad he hasn't got a real one but four very special rabbits.  The first we bought when he was first born which no longer has lovely soft fur but it has been loved to bits....He wanted me to knit a blanket for so he could tuck the rabbits up in bed when he's at school....bless...

We have a beautiful sunny morning down here in Somerset which certainly makes you feel happy..

Thanks for stopping by

Reverse stamping - Happy Tails..

More Happy Tails stamping but this time I've done mirror image or reverse stamping so the dogs are facing each other...there are a couple of ways to do reverse stamping so check it out on utube..I used France Martins technique which was very simple...you just need a silicone mat.
Thank you to my friend Liz for loaning me this delightful stamp set

Happy weekend everyone..

Happy Tails...

My lovely friend Liz kindly let me borrow her Stampin UP set called Happy Tails.
I've made some backing paper using the paw print and dog bone stamps from the set.

I've made my card a 'pop-up' one..its so easy to do..there are several around on the net ....using  mixed balloon dies and strong acetate which came from the top of a Christmas card box I had last year ...(I knew it would come in handy one day)....you do need to use a thicker acetate otherwise your balloons wont stand up...
Hope you are all enjoing this lovely sunny weather we are having...

Thanks for stopping by to look...

70th Birthday....

Forgot to take a decent photograph of the card I made for my lovely friend Jan's 70th birthday.  I know I'm still sorting out lots of crafty stash but when I saw this die I knew I had to have it's Creative Expressions Maggie frame and I know I will use it a lot...

Enjoy the rest of your weekend...

Male birthday card..

It was of  our male friends birthday this week and this is the card I made for him...I used the SU High Tide set to create this scene. Men's cards as we know are very difficult to make unless their interests are golf, football etc...I've also used this stamp set to make sympathy cards it has been a very useful set.

We still have a bit of snow laying around but at least the main roads are free and we can get of out the village today.

Enjoy the rest of yout weekend.

Coffee, cards and a natter...

I had a break from sorting out my crafty stash as this morning I went to Jill's coffee and card making morning which was lovely... I only stamped the front of the card and bought it home as I wanted to make a slightly bigger card...a very simple card but I just love the sentiment. The stamp set is from SU and called Nine Lives... It was nice just to catch up with people and have a natter.

I have made a couple of other cards which I will post later in the week

My progress is very slow sorting but I have got rid of a lot of stuff...so slowly but surely.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Happy New Year - and taking time out.....

Firstly I would like to wish all my lovely followers a Very Happy and Peaceful New Year.

This is the first and last card I will post this month as I really need to take a month off  to enable me to  have a good clear out of my craft room.
I cannot do that and craft at the same time so apart from those essential cards I need to make I wont be crafting again until February BUT I will still be looking at your blog pages and commenting...
I have over 25 years worth of stamps, dies, papers, punches and lots of other crafting tools and essentials that I have collected,  but the time has come to sort through it all and scale down, I know we all buy things we like it gets put into cupboards and drawers but doesn't get used....     I am so quilty of that espeically DSP.......  apart from all the crafty stuff I also have fabric and wool...

The image above is a Hunkydory one ....

See in you in February....
