Thanks....

One of the other projects we did in club last month was using Watercolour  paper,  colouring our stamps and spritzing them before stamping ...  this little card is one of my samples.

Stamps used are from the Stampin Up set 'Because I care set and 'French Foliage'..I made my card using a Spellbinders die ...also used is the Stampin Up Fan embossing folder..

Letter press technique..

One of our projects in last months Craft Club was the letter press technique...this is a technique where you ink the embossing folder before putting your card inside...it depends which side of the embossing folder you ink up as to effect you get...   on this card I wanted the flowers coloured.

I've used one of the Wee pre-coloured image from the Silver Fairy collection,
also used is the Sue Wilson Lattice heart embossing folder...just added a little bit of lace..a really quick and effective card.

First Christmas cards.....

Yesterday my friend and I spent playing and one of the things we did was to make a Christmas card with the lovely Stampendous Snowy Scene stamp...

Keeping the cards very simple..   I used   S.U backing papers, stamped the image twice and cut out and 3D the middle and also 3D the holly...
The vintage look card hasn't photgrahed well as the backing papers are gold and brown....

Its really too hot to craft today but need to get on with next months samples for our craft club...

Hope the sun is shining where you are...

Remember when......

Where do the weeks go I cant believe its almost  week since I last posted and sadly I missed the snippets challenge as well....

This image is from a book of printed artwork by Kevin Walsh called 'Out & About'...there are some fabulous images all from bygone years and ideal for mens cards and you can 3D them if you wish which is what I have done here but bearing in mind the cost of postage keeping it flat enough to go normal postage.
I've used Couture Creations cogs embossing folder and the paper was a scrap piece found in my snippets box....

I'm not going to be around much next week but will try and get at least one card made...

Have a great weekend....

Hollyhocks......

On Thursday had a lovely day crafting with my friend Margaret making special cards that she needed.

Margaret very kindly bought over some of her new dies to show me and it would have been rude not to try them!
The circle die is one of Sue Wilsons, and the corner dies which are really pretty are from Tattered Lace.
Backing paper is from Papermania 'Summer Bloom pad' and I've used Penny Black 'Hollyhocks' stamp...

I embellished my card with a Martha Stewart butterly and also some pretty pink ribbon which I tied into a double bow..

The weather man says down in the South and South East the weather is looking good so hope he's right...

Snippets-playground-week-126. .....

While on holiday last week I visited Hobbycraft and found this little stamp and thought it would be ideal for an Anniversary card (yes another one) so have used it for the Snippets Challenge this week.

The stamp is called Perfect Pair, all the layers were in my leftovers stash..the frame from Marianne, backing paper from the Paper Shop, sentiment is computer generated  and I've just added a couple of hearts snippets from the Martha Stewart heart border punch.

Hope you've all had a good weekend despite the weather...

Not a lot of crafting this week for me as it half term so will be seeing the grandchildren.
