A card for an Owl lover but I didn't find this Indio Blu image easy to colour as its quite a dense stamp and perhaps I should have done it in softer colours.
Coloured with pencils and I've added a little bit of Glossy accents to his beak.
Backing paper is from my stash, Tim Holtz wood effect embossing folder, Memory Box leaf punch...

My friend Val very kindly cut some of the Stamp UP milk cartons out for me and I made two little bird houses from them as little Easter gifts for my granddaughters teachers.
For the roof I cut out a piece of Chocolate Chip card 4" x 2" then punched out a few rows of scallops using the S.U. scallop punches and glued them on.
Using the 1" circle punch punched a hole in the, I should really have used the larger 1 3/4" punch to give a bigger opening. The SU bird really is a little bit big but my Granddaughter thought they were brilliant particularly as I popped some acetate inside to cover the opening and filled the little houses with Cadburys Chocolate eggs....yum yum... I attached the roof by punching a hole with my Crop-a-dial and then threading through some ribbon.
Grace made her own Easter Cards to go with the bird houses using the S.U. Good Egg set but unfortunately I forgot to ask Mummy to take a picture of them....

We are having problems with our internet at the moment Orange are telling us they are doing work to the lines...so one minute we are on and the next off sooo frustrating, we've just come back on again after being off since late last night.. So I apologise if I dont get around to your blogs to leave comments.
Anyway for my card today I have used another of my new Stampin Up stamp sets and this one is called 'Serene Silhouettes'..... Using duster brushed and a couple of colour I created a little background the stamped the image with little birds on the branch on it.
Cutting out 2 separate aperture circles, slightly different sizes and them stamped on the top one using another stamp from the set.
The little birds are from Memory box....sentiment is an old Stamps Unlimited one.

This is the first card I have made for a few days as I have had a stinking cold and not felt like crafting.. I still dont feel 100% and my mojo seems to have gone on holiday but this is what I came up with today, again the photograph's not brilliant as its so dark and dull...where is Spring?
I've used some of my new Stampin Up goodies....firstly the stamp set which is called 'Field of Flowers'...I've used Island Indigo and Baja Blue card and ink pads, I also used a couple of stamps from the 'French Foiliage' set for the background, these two stamps are so useful for making backgrounds.
I've placed the image inside the S.U Framed Tulips embossing folder. Backing papers are called 'Sycamore Street'. also the Itty Bitty Banner stamps were also from the -Sale-A-Bration.
Just added a butterfly from the Papillion Potpourri set and a small punched butterfly that also goes with this set....
The weather is certainly crazy at the moment...I hope those of you with snow are keeping warm, and those who have floods keeping safe...

I picked up these some Kenny K Pre-coloured images at Farnborough and this one is one a sheet called Street Kids.
Backing papers are from Echo Park called 'Boys Life'..Memory box Cloud die and Simple Banner die. Cogs punched using the Stampin Up now retired cog punch.

We woke up this morning to a snow which was a huge surprise when we drew back the curtains...thankfully it stopped around 8am and slowly melted away..this afternoon we've had lovely sunshine....really strange weather at the moment...
Not a lot of time to craft today but managed to make a small 'thank you' card using one of the stamps from the Patterned Occasions set that was in the Stampin UP Sale-A-Bration catalogue.
Papers are also from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue, SU embossing folder, I've used the small leaves from the Memory Box Fabulous Phlox dies for the leaves, Quickutz corners sadly now retired.
Just off to attack another basket of ironing.....

This is my lastest bag...again its totally made from scraps of fabric, its so quick to make it actually took less than a day to put together and I just love the colours...it .just need a gentle press and its ready to use.
It was our club meeting last night and this is what the girls made an Origami box...these were the samples that I made..if you want to have a go you can find the instructions here .
