Penny Black challenge.....Week 199

Penny Blacks challenge this week is called MAY DAY so spring type cards...

Decided to use this little stamp which is called ' Buzz in the Air'coloured which I have coloured with Copic pens.

The backing papers are from Echo Park Country Drive pad...Punches used are Martha Stewart border punch and butterfly punch, Stampin UP label punch.

My scanner has been playing up these last few days so had to photograph my card but  its not a good picture sorry think I also could do with a new camera!! Also added to my card is a small bee charm and some flowers from my stash box.

Summer by the Sea....

This is a stamp that comes from a lovely Stampin Up set called 'Summer by the Sea' which has been retired for quite a while now but a set I have kept.

Coloured with pencils and mounted onto nesties.

Backing papers are a mix of Craft Creations, the daisy paper and S.U.  Also used is a daisy embossing folder, Memory Box corner die and those lovely Whimsey corners again.

White on White....

Had lovely day today went to Shepton Mallet craft fair with friends....I didn't think it was a good as previous years but we all managed to spend a few pennies. Bought some new stamps and another Memory Box die beside other bits and bobs...also saw a lovely knitting pattern for a jacket so ended up buying some wool to make it....
I made this card yesterday playing  around with Memory Box dies...using the Poppy, Tulip and Tessatina border die. Embossed a piece of card with a Stampin Up folder before cutting out 2 oval to make a frame.. embossed the flower dies and leaves...
 Used some of the waste from the Tessatina die and popped a few pearls on them......Martha Stewart butterfly with a little bit of sparkle on. I've left the sentiment off the card for the moment...
Off to watch the T.V. as I feel a bit 'cream crackered'...

Bird in Blossom......

This weeks challenge over at Make my Monday is Birds or Animals...
Most of the elements on my card are from Stampin Up except the frame which is a Spellbinders one and the Martha Stewart butterfly punch.
I embossed some cream and kraft card them distressed it with vintage photo Distress ink. Cut the nestie out and placed a rectangle nesties in the centre making the frame.  The music paper is also from Stampin Up, cut out the leaf die and just embossed the leaves a little bit and added some old olive ink to the leaved...punched out some small flowers then popped then in another S.U. embossing folder before making the little flowers..

Its another very wet day down here in Somerset.....will we ever see the sun again???

Sweet little Elephant...

Just wanted to try out my new Joy Daisy cut and emboss dies which I think are lovely.  I masked off part of this stamp  as I just wanted the little elephant so masked off a little daisy and a butterfly.
The stamp is a Penny Black one called 'Embrace'..coloured with Copics.  Backing papers are from a freebie pad which is called 'Pink Petticoat' Wild blossoms, it has some really papers papers in the pack.
sentiment is a Cuddly Buddly stamp..Corner Adorner punch also used.

Less is More challenge....Week 64 Theme

The challenge over at Less is More is theme and the theme is How Charming...using charms on our cards.
I have used a pair of embossed feet for my image which I have mounted onto card and paper. I've used 'that' die again Memory Box Tessatina and threaded my little baby boot through the thread running across the card and added a couple of flowers to the card.  Used the S.U. window punch added tiny buttons and placed small pearls in the centre .
I am still trying to get my head around this new interface and have had a few problems posting...I think it must be me!!

Penny Black Challenge...week 198

Its Saturday again and that means another great challenge from the Penny Black Challenge DT team and this week our challenge is NO PATTERN PAPERS can be used.
I've used one of my new P.B. stamps and this one is called DREAMY, it is a lot bigger than I expected but I am sure it will get used a lot. For the background I used a diamond embossing folder which you can only peek at from the bottom and also a Memory Box die called Tessatina.
I've used the Cuttlebug flower dies to mount the sentiment, S.U. edge punch and window punch.  The dragonfly stamp I found in my 'bits' box so just colours him and added glitter, the flower heads also have glitter on them but it doesn't show up well.
