Less is More.....week 56
I was pleased to hear that I wasn't the only one who kept small scraps of paper and card!
This week challenge from the ladies over at Less is More is 'Don't Scrap it'.
Not sure where the coloured backing paper scraps came from but the card is S.U. Melon Mambo. Small scraps of card also used for the S.U. Embossed butterfly Embosslit...sentiment is from SU 'Because I care' set.

Another Faith and Nature....
Another little card from the Faith and Nature set.....coloured with Copic pens....backing paper is some old Stampin Up Haiki DP....just added some faux brads to finish the card off.
These little 5 x 5 scallop cards are ideal for small cards.

Faith in Nature...
I've had this little Stampin UP set 'Faith in Nature for quite a while now and so far it hadn't seen any ink so thought it was time it did!
Stamped and coloured with Copics...Backing paper is Stampin Up and so is all the card...I found a scrap of embossed card which needed using up so popped it behind the image.
Border punch is a Martha Stewart one, these images from this little set make lovely notelets that a quick to make.

A little bit of shrink plastic....
This card doesn't photograph very well being black and also the gold thread is very sparkly...
Found this little shrink plastic cat which is a Hobby Art Daisy cat, stamped onto black shrink plastic with white ink and I've coloured the flowers using Sakura pens which have a bit of sparkle to them. Punched out a black spirelli shape and used sparkly gold thread on that then mounted the it all onto a Marianne die cut.
The black card for the backing I've embossed with an SU embossing folder, corner punched from EK Success punch. SU window punch also used.

Wine buffs...
When asked to make so many cards I do use images from some of my CD's... Wine Buffs are always a favourite as we have a Wine Club in our village I always make sure I do at least 4 Wine Buff cards....they are so quick to make I have made. I manage to make 5 different ones this morning but thought you might like to see a couple of them....
Might just have time to make another card before my little grandson appears this afternoon...
Thanks for looking...

Penny Black Challenge - week 189
Our challenge over at Penny Black this week is PEARLS and LACE...so this was easy for me!
I've used one of the Penny Black Stickeroo images from the Romance of Flowers sheet and just added a little bit of sparkle.
Backing papers are from S.U. Punch is SU eyelet punch...added my lace and some pearls...
great I though done....NO....I had stuck my images on the wrong way so my card wouldn't open...gggrr. but I think we have all done this a some stage...so rescued what I could from the front of the original card and started again...
I have a busy week this week as I have got an order for 60 cards and a couple of commissions to make so if I don't post for a few days you know what I am doing...

Less is More.....week 55....
This weeks challenge from the girls over at Less is More is Theme and the theme is 'DIE CUT or PUNCH.
I've used my Sizzix/ Hero Arts Stamp and Die cut set for this challenge which is a lovely little set there is a die for every stamp, stamping the leaves and flowers out first then die cutting it couldn't be easier.
Off to do some sewing repairs for my granddaughter now...patches on jeans....what would these little treasures do with us nanny's and Grandma's?
Also entering this card into the Challenge Crafters Circle Die cuts challenge.
