Tatty Ted.....

Just love these little Tatty Ted stamps from Docrafts but when stamping I found you need to stamp them very lightly otherwise little Ted is just too dark to colour.
Coloured Ted with pale grey copic pen and used pencils for his umbrella then mounted him into a Nellie die.  Backing paper is from Stampin Up, also used Swiss dots embossing folder and S.U. eyelet punch. Flowers from stash.

Thanks for popping by.

Nature Walk...

Yesterday I had a little play with one of my new S.U. stamp sets called 'Nature walk'.
Stamped the little bird twice so he would stand out and popped the bird cage and bee onto pads. Embossing folder used along the bottom and then I've punched along the edge.
All products used are Stampin Up except for the vintage seam binding...also added 3 faux brads.
As we should have been on holiday this week, we are having a day out and heading off to Stourhead  National Trust,   we have walked the grounds several times  but have never been into the house.  Although the weather isn't sunny it does seem warm out there...
catch up with you again tomorrow..

Freebies.....

I dont very often buy craft magazines but two of them caught my eye when I was shopping and both had lovely 'freebies' on them.  One being this lovely little Humphrey stamp and the other having a book of M.M.E Christmas papers.
Humphrey was stamped and coloured with copic pens and mounted on nesties.
Selected two of the M.M.E papers and just added a little bit of ribbon and a glitter...a very quick Christmas card.

French Foliage...

Managed to have a quick play with my Stampin Up French Foliage set a couple of days ago.
Using Old Olive, chocolate chip and Really Rust ink pads stamped a backgroud using 4 of the stamps from the set then stamped the larger leaves in old olive and sponged them with really rust before placing them with silicone on the centre piece.  Not really sure about the labels sentiment in the middle though....mmm.  Need to have another play with this set.
Just added a little bit of vintage seam binding.

CR8FN colour challenge....

Thought I would join in the CR8FN colour challenge this week. Using Clarity Stamps Alium stamps.  There are 3 stamps all together, stamped onto card then  I scanned the images and printed onto acetate then put some double sided clear sticky plastic (which was and idea given to me by my lovely friend Val Glover) behind the image then added some 'snake type' turqouise paper behind the flowers, mounted the images onto pale blue card which I embossed.  Added some neutral ribbon along thise side and a sentiment. Finally I added some turqouise glitter glue to the flower heads to add a bit of sparkle.
Thanks for looking...
