Less is More Challenge....

Gosh 2 posts in one day... but I wont be posting tomorrow so thought I would get my LIM challenge one today.  Our challenge this week from Less is More is to use 3 squares.....
I've used all Stampin Up stamps on my card, the flowers used are from Stampin Up 'Pocket Silhouettes' set and stamped in 3 different colours. Also used are the small butterfly and sentiment from S.U. set ' Flight of the Butterfly'.  Ribbon and punch are also S.U.

Penny Black Challenge....

How quickly these challenges come around but I always look forward to them.
Penny Blacks challenge this week is Pearls and Lace...well as you know I LOVE my pearls so this challenge is right up my street..lOl..lOl.
Just couldn't resist buying a couple of P.B. stamps when I went to Farnborough on Friday and this is one of them its called 'Daisy Fields'.  Decided to do a monochrome card so just stamped my image and then used Distress inks to colour, I used Black Soot ink pad for this card and then just added a little bit of glitter to the flowers. Mounted images onto nesties.
Backing paper is from stash, S.U. photo corner punch and oval used, S.U. sentiment.

Bah Humbug challenge....

Lovely to be back in my craft room after spending a lovely week with the grandchildren we all had a really good time and they went home very happy...thats what grandparents are for isn't it?
Bah Humbugs challenge this week is called 'Things that Fly'....
Decided to use the old PSX stamp which unfortunately doesn't have a name on it.  Coloured with copics but I'm not too happy with my colouring and I should have used penicls and got a softer look... I have used Glossy accents on the berries and also on the eyes of the birds.
Backing paper is from Papermania, you know when you buy paper pads there always colours in there which you tend to leave and these are two of them but thought they went o.k. with the 'brightly' coloured robins!!   S.U. Border punch and Quickutz corner die also used.

A quick post this morning before the grandchildren arrive.
This little girl is an image by MoManning. Coloured with copic pens.
Backing papers are from MME summer papers.  S.U. eyelet punch used around the image.  Cuttlebug flower die used with the sentiment which is from Craftwork Cards.
I will be back on Saturday......worn out I expect..lOl...lOL.

Penny Black challenge....

The ladies over at Penny Black challenge have given us the subject of Mens cards.
Men aren't really into cutie stamps are they but thought I would use the 'Fly Away' stamp and just make a play on the the work 'Plane'......what do you think?
Image has been coloured using copic pens, and mounted using the Martha Stewart Cherish punch which I love....  Backing paper I have had for a long time but I think its from Chatter Box but not sure.  Just added 3 handmade brads and the sentiment.
This might be the last post for a week as we have the grandchildren but if I can I will try and sneak half and hour in my craft room....I could end up being the midnight crafter..hee..hee

Less is More....

Another great challenge from the new Less is More challenge blogspot.  
Spring is this weeks challenge so I searched for a stamp with a daffodil on and this is the only one that I have, it's a little stamp from Penny Black called 'Seeing your face' which of course has nothing to do with the daffodil....
Stamp has been coloured with prismacolor pencils and the sentiment comes from S.U. set 'Touch of Nature'.
