Lili of the Valley Challenge...

The LOTV challenge this week is an Untraditional Christmas card.
Thought I would put a little humour into my card for this challenge as well as unusual colours! I can just see these two at the school nativity play....
Image coloured with copics, cuttblebug Swiss dot embossing folder used as part of the background as well as a little bit of vellum.
The 'Christmas' wording is from a sheet of letters I found in my 'bit box', also added a few pearls and a little bit of ribbon. Flowers from my stash leaves punched using McGill pine leaf.

Penny Black challenge...

This weeks challenge from Penny Black
is Indian Summer.
I stamped this little image at a friends house and it has been sat on my desk waiting to be made into a card so this weeks challenge was ideal.
Image painted with Radiant Pearls, backing paper is from Papermainia Summer bloom. EK Success photo corners, cuttlebug folder also used.

Off to spend the day with our grandchildren which will be lovely as we had some sad news last night that one of our friends had passed away....

Bah Humbug challenge...

Our challenge this week from Bah Humbug
is stars.
This little stamp is from Funstamps and is called 'Star Penguin. Coloured with copic pens. Small snowflake stamps used on the background of him. Mounted onto nesties. Cuttlebug star embossing fold used across the middle, papermania backing paper. Star punch is from SU.

Which girl doesn't like shopping?

A very quick post this morning as I am off to playgroup with my youngest granddaughter it's only her 3rd morning but hopefully I shall be able to creep away after an hour!
Todays card is a Whiff of Joy image. Colured with radiant pearls. Backing paper is from MME.
Bought a new swirl die a couple of weeks ago this one is from Sizzix. Quickutz corner die and cuttlebug flower die also used. Flowers by Prima.

Penny Black challenge...

Penny Blacks challenge this week is also a card plan.
I've used PB 'Flying Stars' but only used part of it and cut out image using a nestie. Flowers coloured with white gel pen.
Backing papers are from SU so is the Kraft card.
For the flowers the outer petal is one of the Nellie punches and the inner a Prima flower put together with a silver brad. Ribbon from stash.
SU window punch used to put the pearls on and the sentiment is also an SU one.

LOTV Challenge...

Thought I would have a go at the Lili of the Valley challenge this week and the challenge was a card sketch.
I've used one of their new Christmas stamps and painted her with Radiant Pearls then mounted onto Nesties.
Backing papers are from Papermania pad called Summer Bloom.
Flowers and pin are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Bah Humbug challenge....

Bah Humbugs challenge this week is TEXT. I've used an old PSX stamp. I dug deep into my cupboards and fished out my Radiant Pearls paint pots which are lovely to use so have painted my NOEL with these.
The stripped backing paper and ribbon is from SU, the leaf paper is handmade.
Punches used are EK seccess photo corner, MS snowflake and SU window punch...and I have just noticed that my snowflake on the bottom right hand side isn't straight so I need to rectify that!!
Not feeling too good today so thats my excuse.
