Bah Humbug challenge....

Bah Humbug have given us a 'free hand' this week we can use our favourite medium.
My favourite medium is rubbing stamping, stamping is so versitile and used along with inks can produce stunning effects.
LOTV stamp has been used for this card, coloured with copics and a little bit of glitter added to her wings. SU card and backing papers. Flowers from stash. SU photo corner punch, ribbon and pearls also added.

Autumn Leaves...

It's our club night again tonight and our card of the month is Autumn and we are hoping that we will have a lovely selection of card from our ladies.

I've used 2 different sets for this card S.U. Lovely as a Tree but also used the acorns from SU Touch of Nature set.
Backing paper is from SU. The leaves and acorns have been stamped onto brayered card then cut out. Imaged stamped and coloured using distress inks.
Cuttlebug Distressed stripes embossing folder used across the centre then coloured with distress inks. Cuttlebug corners. Ribbon from stash.

Bah Humbug Challenge...

Our Bah Humbug challenge this week is a Christmas Carol or Song.
This little Penny Black stamp was ideal and its called 'Jingle all the way'.
Stamped and coloured with pencils...then it all went wrong! Decided to 3d the bells, fine, then thought I would glaze the bells using Dimond Glaze, big mistake I should have left well alone!! Anyway I did complete the card, backing paper from my stash, Martha Stewart snowflake punch and I just added a some ribbon and a bow.

Something a bit different....

It's been a very long time since my brayer last saw daylight so thought I would have a little play.
I started off with slightly 'coated' card and using a Big and Juicy Hydranga ink pad inked up my card but masking out a circle for the moon first before brayering.
Several stamps have been used on this card, the reeds and background is one stamp which I bought on that well known auction site quite a while ago but I dont remember it having a name it was just an unmounted stamp. The birds over the moon is a stamp from Lavina Stamps, the 'trees' stamped on the top of the card is a little stamp from Clarity but any leaf stamp will do. Having stamped I though the card needed something else so I've added my little bird punch with leaf from Stampin Up. I really enjoyed making this card so think I might do another one.
